2025 Leave Policy – India

To help you balance your work and home life, we offer time off for vacation, public holidays, illness, and a
variety of important life events, as outlined below. All full-time employees are eligible for different types
for offered leaves.

Annual Leave
Full-time employees are entitled up to Twenty (20) days paid annual leave each year, accrued at 1.66 days
per month. Annual Leave provides paid time off to help you balance your work and personal life. Expedia
encourages you to use your annual leave to spend time with loved ones, holiday, outside activities or to
relax.

Annual leave will accrue on the 1st of every month. Employees can apply more than the reflected accrued
leave as long as it doesn’t exceed your yearly cap. A maximum of 30 days for Gurugram and 45 days for
Bengaluru and Remote/Virtual of unused Annual leave can be carried over to the following year.

New hires - the first month’s annual leave will be prorated based on hire date.

Leavers - Annual leave will be prorated as of the official last day. A maximum of 30 days for Gurugram and
45 days for Bengaluru and Remote/Virtual of unused annual leaves will be eligible for encashment during
exit.

The formula for leave encashment is: Annual base salary divided by 360 multiplied by the number of
unused accrued annual leave days. If you have taken more than your accrued annual leave at the date your
employment terminates, a deduction will be made accordingly from your final payslip.

Casual Leave
Full time employees are entitled up to ten (10) days paid annual leave each year, accrued at .83 day per
month. Casual leaves are usually utilized to accommodate any unforeseen or personal requirements.
