Gupta Period (Ports/ Silk route etc.)
Krishnadeorai Period (Hampi)- Metal trade
Rules:
o Minimum of 3 to 6 contestants can participate
o For Model Making, Students must use the concept ‘Best out of
Waste’.
o Students have to give a presentation on the prepared model.
o The model must be an original creation and not copied from
existing designs.
o Time Limit: 10 Min. including Q&A session
o All members should contribute to the presentation.
Poster Presentation for BBA
Themes: (Vedic to Modern Indian Era)
Ayurveda- The Science of life
Indian Astronomy – Science of the stars
Traditional Indian Art Forms (Warli, Madhubani, Kalamkari etc.)
Ancient Indian Textile (Handloom weaving, block printing, dyeing
techniques)
Indigenous Knowledge in Sustainable agriculture.
Rules:
o Minimum of 3 to 6 contestants can participate
o Paper Size: 5X3
o Time Limit: 10 Min. including Q&A session.
o Students have to paint the poster
o The poster should be in portrait or landscape layout.
o Digital designed and AI generated image Printouts are not allowed.
o Students have to give a presentation on prepared poster.
o The poster should represent the original work of the participant(s).
o All members should contribute to the presentation.
PPT Presentation for BCA
Themes: (Vedic to (Present) Modern Indian Era)
Traditional ecologies- knowledge and sustainability
The role of indigenous women in knowledge presentation.
Indigenous knowledge and climate change adoption.
Indigenous food preservation techniques: past& present
Social Justice & Indigenous people’s rights to knowledge.
Rules:
o Minimum of 3 to 6 contestants can participate
o Slide Limit: Minimum of 20 slides
o Time Limit: 10 Min. including Q&A session
o Ensure all content directly supports the topic and purpose of the
presentation.
o File Format: Submit the PPT in the required format (e.g., .ppt, .pptx,
or PDF).
o File Size: Adhere to file size limits, if any.
o Device Compatibility: Ensure the presentation is compatible with the
provided equipment (e.g., projector or computer).
o All members should contribute to the presentation.
General Rules:
Eligibility:
Participation is open to all departments within the
organization/institution.
Each student group must register their team by the specified deadline.
Team members must be current members of the respective department.
Team Composition:
Teams should consist of a pre-defined number of members (depending on
the competition).
Substitutions are allowed only if notified in advance and approved by the
organizers.
Competition Guidelines:
All teams must adhere to the specific rules outlined for each event.
Teams must report to the competition venue at least 15 minutes before the
scheduled start time.
Any use of unfair means or misconduct will lead to immediate
disqualification.
Judging and Scoring:
Competitions will be judged by a panel of neutral judges selected by the
organizing committee.
Scoring criteria for each event will be clearly communicated beforehand.
The judges’ decision will be final and binding.
Prizes and Recognition:
Trophies will be awarded to the top-performing teams.
Certificates of participation will be given to all participants.
Attendance and Participation:
Teams must confirm their attendance for all scheduled events.
Failure to participate in a competition without prior notice may result in
penalties for the department.
Cancellation or Postponement:
The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel or reschedule
events due to unforeseen circumstances.
Notifications of such changes will be communicated promptly.
