experience, we have introduced a new and improved design to make payments even easier and

The PayFast checkout interface is divided into two sections. On the left side, customers can view
their order summary, while the right side displays the available payment methods and their
required fields. This layout ensures that customers have all the necessary information
conveniently on one screen.

2. 1 Click Checkout
One-click checkout (1CC) allows returning customers to complete their purchases with a single
click, eliminating the need to re-enter payment details. It utilizes secure tokenization to store
payment information safely, significantly simplifying the purchase process. By reducing the
number of steps required to complete a transaction, 1CC can notably lower cart abandonment
rates. Additionally, since customers' payment details are not directly shared with merchants, the
risk of data breaches is greatly reduced.

3. Raast
Raast is an instant payment system designed to facilitate quick and easy fund transfers between
bank accounts. It aims to enhance financial inclusion by making digital payments more accessible
to a wider audience. By promoting cashless transactions, Raast supports the growth of the digital
economy and reduces reliance on physical cash. Its instant payment transfers drastically cut down
the time required for financial transactions compared to traditional banking methods.

4. Direct Debit / Bank Account
Customers can make payments directly from their bank accounts using electronic fund transfers
(EFT). This option ensures immediate payment confirmation and is supported by major Pakistani
banks.

Customers can use their Visa or MasterCard credit and debit cards to make secure

7. Transaction Journey
1. Pay via 1 Click Checkout
● The customer selects their preferred payment method on PayFast Checkout.
● The customer inputs the required information for the chosen payment method.
● The customer decides whether they want PayFast to remember their payment
information for future transactions.
● The customer enters their phone number and email address.
● PayFast sends an OTP to the customer’s phone number to confirm the
information has been saved.
● The customer enters the OTP to confirm.
● The customer clicks the "Pay" button to proceed with the transaction.
● PayFast sends another OTP to the customer’s registered mobile number.
● The customer inputs the OTP to complete the transaction.

For all subsequent transactions using PayFast
● The customer inputs their registered phone number or email.
● A code is automatically sent to the customer’s registered phone number or email.
● The customer inputs this code.
● A list of saved payment options becomes visible to the customer.
● The customer selects the payment option they would like to use.
● The customer clicks on the "Pay" button to proceed with the transaction.
This process allows the customer to checkout without having to re-enter their
information.

2. Pay via Raast
● The customer will be prompted to input their registered mobile number or
International Bank Account Number ( IBAN).
● The customer will then click on the "Pay" button to proceed with the transaction.
● A “Review Detail” screen will be visible to the customer.
● Once the customer clicks on the “Continue” button, they will be asked to
authenticate the transaction from their linked internet banking app.

3. Pay via Bank Account
● The customer will be prompted to choose their preferred partner bank from the
PayFast options where they hold an account.
● The customer will input either their Account Number or International Bank
Account Number (IBAN) and CNIC.
● The customer will then click on the "Pay" button to proceed with the transaction.
● PayFast will securely send customer’s account details and CNIC to the bank for
verification.
● An OTP will be sent by the bank to the customer on their registered phone
number.
● Once the OTP is verified, the transaction will be marked successful.

4. Pay via Credit & Debit card
● The customer will be prompted to enter their card number.
● The customer will then input the card's expiry date and CVV.
● The customer will then click on the "Pay" button to proceed with the transaction.
● An OTP will be sent by the card issuer to the customer's registered phone
number.
● Once the OTP is verified, the transaction will be marked successful.

5. Pay via Mobile Wallet
● The customer will be prompted to choose their preferred Mobile Wallet from the
PayFast options.
● The customer will then input their registered mobile number.
● The customer will then click on the "Pay" button to proceed with the transaction.
● An OTP will be sent by the wallet provider to the customer's registered phone
number.
● Once the OTP is verified, the transaction will be marked successful
