PART II (CIRCUIT ANALYSIS)
SOLVE THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS USING CIRCUIT ANALYSIS. BOX EVERY ANSWERS THAT
HAVE BEEN PROJECTED THROUGH YOUR ANALYSIS ( 100 TOTAL POINTS)
1) A 20 ohms and 25 ohms is connected in series, they are also connected in parallel with a 30
ohms resistor. The resistors 20 and 25 ohms are connected in series with a 50V source. What is
the total Current of the circuit? (5 points)
2) 8 ohms and 0.12 Henry is connected in series to a 110 V, 60 Hz supply. Determine the current
of the circuit (5 points)
3) 10 ohms, 12 ohms, 15 ohms, 20 ohms, and 22 ohms are connected in series with a 25 V
source. Find the current drawn by the circuit. (5 points)
4) 8 Henry, 1.2 micro Farad, and a 7 ohms are connected to a 150 V, 60 Hz voltage source in
series. Find the Voltage across each loads and the current through the circuit. (20 points)
5) A series connected capacitor, inductor and resistor are connected to a 250 V, 60 Hz source
consisting of 70 micro Farad, 0.10 Henry, and 12 ohms respectively. Determine the total current
of the circuit and the voltages across the three loads. (20 points)
6) Determine the total resistance and current drawn by the circuit below. (10 points)
7) Find the equivalent resistance of the circuit given below. (5 points)
