Mold move interface

Move in: Two stages for moving in, fast and slow,
normally speed is set 10-20% and pressure is set 30-

low speed and low pressure are more suitable here.

speed is set 10-20% and pressure is set [Link] can
adjust the speed and the pressure, but low speed and low

Auto mold move out: This function is used for the mold moving
out automatically in auto mode. You must choose it on when
you need the mold to move out during producing.

function is no use for
V440L, please ensure
it is off always.

time limit s: This is time limitation for mold to move in and


move out. If the mold can not move in or move out within the
time limitation, it will alarm, and then you have to check if there
is something abnormal. Normally 25s is OK .

Move down: Two stages for moving down, down1 and down2,
normally speed is set 20-25% and pressure is set [Link]
can adjust the speed and the pressure, but low speed and low
pressure are more suitable here. Injection moving down is
controlled by time, 2s-3s is suitable for it to move down.

need this function, so just turn it off.

End position
for injection 4,
we usually set
it 2-5mm, it’s
the position to
start holding .

Injectiong1-4: There are 4 stages for injection, from


402mm to 390mm is injection1, from 390mm to
50mm is injection2, and so on. Normally we set 40-
50% speed and 130-160bar pressure, it depends on
which rubber you use, you can make some
adjustment which will fit better.

Hold1-3: After injection, it will start to


hold pressure, there are 3 stages for End position
holding.Holding1 is from the position for injection 4,
2mm and lasts for 3 seconds, after we usually set
holding1 it continues to holding2,and it 2-5mm, it’s
it will last for 2 seconds….. the position to
start holding
pressure .

Injection process
including holding:
This function needs
to be on if you want
the machine to hold
pressure after
injection. If not, there
is no holding
pressure.

[Link] s: It’s time limitation for


injection. If it takes more time than
the set value, it will alarm, usually
we can set it 100s and of course you
can adjust it.

Purge: Before another cycle


begins, we need to purge the
old rubber out, so this is the
function for it.

Metering interface
Metering interface

[Link] s:It limits the metering time for every


metering, if metering time exceeds the set limited
metering time, it will alarm. It means something
is abnormal, it needed to be checked.

For example, if the metering time is 300s you can


set the metering time limit 400s.

[Link] oil: It means delay cooling oil. During


metering, the temperature of barrel will increase
because of the shear heat from the screw and the
rubber. Sometimes shear heat is needed to make
it easier for metering, so we delay to cool down
the barrel temperature, we can have 10s or 15s
delay. But normally we set it “0”

Before suck: Before metering, we need to move


the injection piston upward a little to release the
back pressure and make it easier for metering,
we always set the speed 30-50%, pressure 100-
120bar, and position 2-3mm. It only functions in
auto mode.

Meter1: Meter1 is used for metering a little rubber in, it’s a stage
for starting, 30%-40% speed, 100-120bar pressure, 10-15mm
position is normal setting.

Meter2: Meter2 is used for metering the rubber at fast speed. 50-
60% speed, 110-140bar pressure is normal, and the position is
always set 10-15mm less than the full amount, for example, if the
full amount is 402mm, we need to set the position 390mm.

Meter3: Meter3 is used for metering the rest rubber. It’s a stage
before metering stops, 30%-40% speed, 100-120bar pressure is
normal setting, for example, if the full amount is 402mm, we
need to set the position 402mm.

After suck: After finish metering, we need to move the


injection piston up to release the back pressure again.
we always set the speed 30-50%, pressure 100-120bar,
and position 2-3mm more than the full amount. For
example, if the full amount is 402mm, we set the position
405mm. It only functions in auto mode.

Meter function: This function is only used in auto mode.


If you choose the function off, it will not meter for next
shot, so if you want to stop after this shot, you can
choose the function off.

Screw rev: This function is used for cleaning the old


rubber, if you choose the function on, the screw will
rotate reversely and the old rubber will go out from the
inlet.

Screw [Link] s: Time for the screw reversing, normally


we set it 20s.
Feeding setting interface

Feeding function is for


the machine equipped
with silicon rubber
feeding barrel. For
V440L machine, it is not
equipped with silicon
rubber feeding barrel.
Feeding function is not
necessary here.

There are four stages of mold
closing:stage1,stage2,stage3,stage4.

Stage1: For example, now the movable plate position is


501.9mm, from 501.9mm to 450mm is stage1, the movable plate
will move up with 30%speed and 100bar pressure. To start with
low speed and low pressure, 30%speed and 100bar pressure is
normal.

Stage2: From 450mm to 125mm, the movable plate


moves up with 80% speed and 120bar pressure. In
this stage, we use a higher speed and a higher
pressure to move the plate faster in order to shorter
the cycling time.

Stage3: From 125mm to 50mm, the movable plate
moves up with 30% speed and 120bar pressure, how
much pressure it needs depends on the weight of the
mold, the heavier of the mold, the more pressure it
needs. In this stage, we use a low speed to slow
down the plate.

Stage4: From 50mm to 10mm, the movable plate
moves up with 15% speed and 100bar pressure, how
much pressure it needs depends on the weight of the
mold, the heavier of the mold, the more pressure it
needs. In this stage, we use a lower speed than
30%speed to slow down the plate to prepare for
clamping.

[Link].t.s: It’s time limitation for


the movable plate moves from
stage3 to stage4 , if it exceeds the
set time, it will alarm, there may be
something abnormal. Usually, 15s-
20s is suitable.

set time, it will alarm, there may be
something abnormal. Usually, 25s-
30s is suitable.

Clamping: There are two stages of clamping, we


always set the speed and pressure the same.
Normally, 70-80% speed and full pressure 220bar
are suitable, also pressure here is the target
clamping pressure. And 6-8s for clamping is
suitable.

example, if you set a total clamping time 7s, after
7s it will stop clamping no matter it reaches to
target pressure or not

Clamping type:
[Link]: Machine will stop clamping as soon
as it reaches to the target pressure. For example,
if we set clamping time 7s and clamping type
pressure, if machine reaches to 220bar with 5s, it
will stop clamping at once even we set the
clamping time 7s.

Clamping type:
3. All: Machine will keep clamping for the set
time and will stop clamping only when the
machine reach to the target pressure. For
example, if you set the clamping time 7s and
target pressure 220bar, machine will stop
clamping after 7s with a 220bar clamping
pressure, or else it will go on clamping for
another round.

used during vulcanization, if the
clamping pressure deceases to
200bar, the machine will clamp
again to keep the clamping
pressure at 220bar.

There are five stages of mold opening: releasing


pressure,stage1,stage2,stage3,stage4.

Releasing pressure: Before opening the mold, the clamping


pressure should be released first. Here 10-20%speed and 10-
20bar pressure are normal.

[Link].s: This the time for releasing pressure.2-3s is enough.

Stage1: After releasing pressure, the mold will open
with a low speed and low pressure like the starting of
a car. We can set a 30%speed and 100bar pressure to
open the mold for a short distance, for example,
30mm.

Stage2: After stage1, we increase the speed for
opening the mold. We usually set the 50%speed,
130bar pressure and 100mm position. It means from
30mm to 100mm, the mold opens with 30%speed and
130bar pressure.

Stage3: After stage2, we need a high speed to mold


the mold to decrease the cycling time. We usually set
80%speed, 130bar pressure and 400mm position. It
means from 100mm to 400mm, the mold opens with
a 80%speed and 130bar pressure.

Stage4: After stage3, we need to decrease the speed


in order to stop the movable plate. We usually set
30%speed, 100bar pressure. The position setting is
based on the thickness of the mold.

time limit s: It’s time limitation for opening the mold. It’s normal to set
it [Link] it opens the mold for more than 25s, it will alarm, there may be
something abnormal. It needs to be checked.

auto open: It’s the function used in process flow. You must choose it
on if you want the mold to open automatically after releasing pressure.

Degas setting interface 1

Degas clamp: After degassing, the mold will close and clamp again,
if it only degases for one time, the clamping pressure and time will
be the same as set in clamp interface; if more than one time, the
parameters of the last time will be the same as set in the clamp
interface, and the others will function per the parameters in the red
rectangles.

[Link]: The mold will open during degassing, the


parameters of mold opening can be set as 20-50% speed
and 100-130bar pressure because it doesn’t need high
speed and high pressure for mold opening.

Degassing stand time(s):The mold will open during


degassing, after opening the mold will hold for some time
and you can set the time, normally 1s or 2s is enough.

Degas count: You can set times of degassing in the


dialog box, normally one or two times is OK.

Degas obj: The mold will open during degassing, and


this function is used for setting the plate which will open
during degassing. For 90% molds, mld.p and cld.p
opening is OK.

Degas gap mm: It is used for setting the gap between


the plates while mold is opening, normally 0-2mm is
suitable.

Degas(Injection): This function is used for injection1 and


injection2. If you choose the function on, it will degas
when the injection piston reaches to the injection1
positon and injection2 position.

If you choose the degas(Injection) function on, it


will degas for both injection1 and injection2 stage
for the same times as you set in the dialog box,
and the degas gap also can be set in the dialog
box.

passwords, user1 is password for basic parameter revision, user2 is password for function

Function/time interface
Cycle time limit: It limits the cycle time for every shot, if the
full cycle time exceeds the set limited cycle time, it will
alarm. It means something is abnormal, and it needs to be
checked.

For example, if the full cycle time is 300s you can set the
cycle time limit 400s.
You can set the cure(vulcanization) time here, it depends
on the actual products.
Motor auto off time: If there is no movement for the
machine within the set time, it will stop the motor
automatically.

For example, if you set the motor auto off time 800s,
if there is no movement for the machine within 800s,
the motor will stop automatically.
System time: Make the function on and then make the date
and time correct according to your local situation.
Cold runner: If your machine is equipped with cold runner
you must turn on this function and then the cold runner
will maintain in low temperature. Otherwise, just keep
the function off.
Purge: This function is used to inject the rubber out when
the injection unit is on the top, it’s convenient to clean the
old rubber.
Spare temp: It means spare temperature, if you have spare
heating and thermocouple, you must make this function on.
If not ,the spare heating will not work.
Cure save screen: When it is curing, the screen will run the
screen saver.
Full auto mode: This function is used for machine testing
at YIZUMI factory, as for customers, it’s unnecessary to
make the function on. With this function on, machine will
run cycle after cycle without stopping.
Mould [Link]: If there are sensors for mid mold
checking, you must make this function on, there is no
sensors for mid mold checking for DTR machines, just
make sure it is off.
Injection unit switch: You can choose the injection unit as
CC or MM according to the actual situation.
Clear Cnt: It is used for clearing cycle counts. After one
shift production, the second shift operator can clear cycle
counts and count how many he produces.
func time 1-3: It is function time 1-3 used in the process
flow. It is delayed time between one movement and another.
You can set them according to the actual situation.

limit time: Just set it “0” here.

Temperature control interface

When it’s on, it means plate heating function is working

When it’s on, it means oil heating function(for both plasticizing


and nozzle oil) is working.

Plate heating and oil heating can work at the same time.

act: Actual temperature which will be detected by the thermocouples.
status:1. For plate heating, there is only one status: heating

2. For oil heating, there are two status: heating and cooling

set temperature, and the tolerance exceeds the maximum limitation,
it will alarm.

min: minimum limitation, if the actual temperature is lower than the
