ABOUT AIIMS, BIBINAGAR
AIIMS Bibinagar is one of the 22 AIIMS health care institutes being established by the Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna
(PMSSY) in the year 2019. With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level
healthcare in the country and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and
training the PMSSY planned to set up 22 new AIIMS like institutions in underserved areas of the country .
ABOUT COLLEGE OF NURSING
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bibinagar, College of Nursing took its infant steps in
August 2023, when the first batch of 30 students walked through its corridors. The nursing faculty and staff
at the College of Nursing work tirelessly to equip nurses with an outstanding foundation in nursing to
become productive members for the healthcare team.. Student nurses are groomed and trained by a team of
well trained and experienced nursing faculty of par excellence with international standards. Presently, the
college is offering [Link]. (Hons) Nursing with an intake of 60 students and [Link]. Nursing with an intake of
08 students .
ABOUT WORKSHOP
Join us for an insightful workshop at AIIMS,Bibinagar focusing on enhancing communication skills in
healthcare sector . This workshop will provide Nursing students , Nursing officers and Nursing faculty with
effective communication strategies essential for patient care, team work, and professional interactions .
OBJECTIVES
1) Develop effective interpersonalrelationships through open and honest communication to foster trust,
enhance patient-provider interactions, and support emotional well-being.
2) Resolve conflicts andpromote constructive discussions and prioritize harmony and mutual respect.
3) Foster respectful communication to ensure that all interactions are conducted with mutual respect,
valuing diverse perspectives.
4) Integrate digital tools to enhancecommunication for affective patient care .
