Defaults and Negotiation Limits

Some conditions within each defined Property have default values (that is, interest rates) and/or negotiation limits to ensure if any condition value
entered in an arrangement is within the constraints, which have been defined. This allows users to negotiate specific arrangement characteristics
within pre-defined limits. Wherever the negotiation is not allowed, the limits can be removed and the default value becomes fixed.

Negotiation options

There is a group of fields on each property condition to define which fields are negotiable and specific negotiation terms can be defined.

If any fields can be negotiated at arrangement level, the Default Negotiable field must be set to Yes. This field is mandatory and the alternative option
is No.

It is possible to define all fields as negotiable and define an exception in the Attribute field or vice versa. The Attribute field is part of a multi-value set
of fields, which define any rules that are linked to the field being [Link] user can provide the name of the attribute in the Attribute field and
define its negotiation rules that may apply to it.

The Options field defines the value of a specific attribute. It has the below options:

Fix-Value - Indicates that the field value is fixed at the arrangement level. If the field is negotiated, the value automatically gets fixed at
arrangement level.

Mandatory – Indicates that the field value is mandatory at the arrangement level (it means that it is not currently mandatory and can
become mandatory by selecting this option).

Negotiable – Indicates that the field value is negotiable at the arrangement level, subject to the negotiation rules defined in the fields
such as [Link], Type, Value and Message.

Non-Negotiable – Indicates that the field value is not negotiable at the arrangement level.

Override – Indicates that an override appears if the field value is negotiated at the arrangement level.

The fields such as [Link], Type, Value and Message are used to define the rules for negotiation.

The value in the [Link] field should already be defined in the [Link] application so that it can be selected within the
appropriate [Link] application and condition record.

The user can define several rules and include routines. Once the rule has been defined and authorised, it appears in the [Link] drop down
field.

Temenos has released pre-defined negotiation rules. In addition, the user can create them using the [Link] application. These rules
are listed in the Type drop-down field.

NOTE: It is recommended to choose a rule that is applicable to the type of field. For example, do not choose MULTIPLE for a field that does not
relate to an amount.

When choosing one of the negotiation rules in the Type field, a value must also be entered in the Value field. This value can be checked when the
field is negotiated at arrangement level. If there is any discrepancy, an override or error message can be generated depending on the option selected
in the Message field.

Attribute Rule

The Attribute Rulefield is used to indicate the rules that should be executed against certain fields for a property at product creation or arrangement
creation. A conditional expression with fields in the product condition is specified as the rule to be evaluated. The user can define the rule as a
conditional expression with fields in the product condition and this rule is evaluated by the system.

These rules can be specified based on the value of a single field or the values from multiple fields. A user can then specify comparison operators
(that is, ==, !=. symbols for GT, GE, LT, LE) ,AND and OR, as well as brackets/parentheses for grouping.

EXAMPLE: For an Interest Product Condition, a rule can be formed as follows:

(([Link] != "" OR [Link] != "") AND [Link] == "SINGLE")

Where [Link], [Link] and [Link] are fields with values and string after "==" are the values to be compared.

NOTE: Space should be defined in between expression, field name and values.

Resetting and Non Resetting

The Default Attribute Option field is optional and has the below options.

Resetting - Denotes that during any Renewal Activities (for example, [Link], RESET etc), the arrangement conditions
are reset from the Product.
Non-resetting - Denotes that during any Renewal Activities, the arrangement conditions are maintained from the arrangement level.

The top-level default attribute option can be modified at attribute level using the Options drop-down field.
