INTRODUCTION

The system being introduced by the developer is a website that represents a freelance marketplace where clients
can post projects and freelancers can bid for the projects. Freelancing is one of the fastest-growing career paths
for young people today. One of the biggest challenges is connecting with the company. It is a system where
both freelancers and clients will be brought under the same roof. This is an era where most people prefer to
work as free men and not under the name of any company. The online freelance market is such a platform for
such freelancers where they get paid for their work, and at times, this makes work more like a fun game.
Similarly, clients, which can be any organisation, any group, or any individual, are willing to offer their projects
to be outsourced and developed by other people, and that too within a fixed budget range acceptable to both
parties. For both of the above kinds of people, the proposed system is a proper solution: "an online freelance
market place". Freelancing is a system where people who need custom software developed can find a coder in
a safe and business-friendly environment. Customers can pick from a pool of registered coders, enabling them
to hire a coder across the country or across the globe from the comfort of their computers. These customers
upload their project on this website, along with the maximum amount that they are willing to pay. The project
is seen by coders available worldwide, and they place their bids on doing the work. When the customer finds a
coder they want. They can hire them on the spot.

In this modern age, people prefer to shop from home; they don’t want to waste time going to malls or shops.
For this purpose, many e-commerce companies have designed so many applications, of which Flipchart is one
of the well-known companies in India. These apps don’t support laptops and PC devices, so for this purpose,
we are here to represent your Flipchart Lite. This application will have the capacity to perform on laptops and
PC devices. In this generation, people prefer to see products in large resolution, and mobile phones are unable
to show complete images. For this purpose, our application is best. Flipkart was founded in October 2007 by
Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal, alumni of the IIT, Delhi, and former Amazon employees. The company
initially focused on online book sales with nationwide shipping. Flipkart slowly grew in prominence and was
receiving 100 orders per day by 2008.

How it’s work

On job outsourcing websites, there is no direct relationship between employer and employee. Remote work is a new-
age concept of work. It is generally found that this business model is more effective in revenue generation for "nano"
companies and individuals. The worker is termed a "job seeker," also known as a "remote code freelancer," and the
employer is known as a "job provider." Freelancers are self-employed; they do not have a permanent work contract
with an employer [1]. Usually, they receive no fixed salary but are paid on a fee basis for the work they undertake [2].
Many freelancers work on short-term assignments for multiple firms [3]. Often, they have specific qualifications and are
hired for particular knowledge-intensive tasks. This differentiates freelancers from consultants, who have an advisory
role within the company and usually take no part in the organisation's processes themselves. The outsourcing websites
act as a facilitator for those who are seeking jobs and for those who are looking for people to complete their jobs. The
job outsourcing sites earn their revenue from both sides of the stream. They charge a marginal fee from job providers
and job seekers. The fee usually ranges from Jobs are of two types: Firstly, on a time basis (where the job seeker is paid
on an hourly basis), the second method is on a project basis (a fixed amount for the work estimated). The facilitator
usually provides some software tools to monitor the job being performed on a real-time basis. This ensures and
guarantees the quality of work performed by the job seeker; the job provider has to get instantaneous updates. The job
seeker also gets an assured amount for his work without any hassle. Usually, the job seeker and the job provider are
provided with feedback surveys at the conclusion of the work to exchange and determine each other's performance,
trust, and confidence. These star ratings are visible to other registered members of the job site. This facilitates or alerts

other job providers or job seekers to gauge the respective partners. It has been found that 2 out of 10 software
professionals in India are opting for this kind of remote work to augment their incomes besides their regular source of
income through full-time jobs.

Online Market Place-Some Realities

 Most of the workers are always online and in touch with their respective clients. Though they miss the
office atmosphere, they are always in touch with their job providers through internet messaging utilities
like Skype, Google Talk, or by phone. There are also various opportunities to be explored.

 There are third-party sites and tools that assist remote contract workers and/or connect them to other
remote contract workers. community for an example of remote contractors staying connected and
sharing tips and best practises.

 Job seekers never have to worry about their income as there is no shortage of jobs. On successful
completion of jobs, the feedback rating helps them get jobs. The relationship is always struck between
the job provider and job seeker; the job provider always comes back to the known job seeker rather than
an unknown stranger and agrees with future billing in a favourable way. The facilitator websites, like
[Link], [Link], etc., have the mechanism of guaranteed payment without any uncertainties for
the work done. There is an escrow fund to protect the interests of the job seeker and the job provider.

 There is no dearth of jobs in these web portals; the jobs are not limited to software development alone;
they include any job that requires a computer and/or internet connection. Jobs such as data entry, pay
roll processing, business consulting, telemarketing, and voice talent jobs are available, which require nil
or very low technical skills.

 Even if in the initial stage there are low wages being paid, the job seeker will, over time, build up a
reputation through positive feedback. The hourly rate for the job seeker will increase with his maturity,
performance, and experience. This will give an idea of the right price for the job seeker. In these
companies, the worker rate can exceed the average rate of $30/hour to $50/hour.

 Companies like [Link] conduct exams in different skills like PHP, [Link], and various CMS like
Joomla and WordPress. In order to gauge the talent of the job seeker. The examination badges are visible
along with the job seeker’s profile, which enables the contractor (the job provider) to know the technical
ability of the job seeker.

LITUECTURE Review

 A literature review is a document written by someone to acknowledge the critical points of current
knowledge, including substantive findings as well as methodological and theoretical contributions to a
particular topic. It is a critical and in-depth evaluation of previous research (Pressman, 2005).

1) JUSTIFICATION FOR CONDUCTING A LITERATURE REVIEW

In order to get an overview of the topic and to do research in less time, a literature review is conducted.
The overall goal of a literature review is to update the researcher with the current scenario about the
topic and to form the basis for another goal to be achieved by the researcher, such as future research,
which is basically primary research. A literature review produces a critical insight into the working
approach and the existing system's methodologies. The purpose of conducting the literature review in
the context of the proposed system is to summarise the information, ideas, and arguments of others, and
apart from this, the developer can also provide his critical evaluation of the existing methodology.

2) LITERATURE REVIEW IN THE PRESENT SCENARIO

E-freelancing is a very new concept in India, and it is prevalent mainly in the IT sector. Nowadays,
people are getting intended towards this concept, and this works on a single concept:

"The online market place to bring contractors and clients under one roof"

Though it's a new concept in India, it has been working in other developed nations for a longer period
of time. Thus, a large part of the researchers conceded online. Project outsourcing has tended to focus
on the qualitative aspects of the work being done online. The literature review mainly tends to focus on
the domain research and the technological feasibility of the system. In the case of domain research, the
developer has stated the literal meaning of online project outsourcing, its application and benefits from
the organisation's point of view, as well as its knowledge sharing aspects.

Throughout the literature review, the developer talks about the system that he intends to develop. This
system is a website that facilitates the online bidding of projects and hiring freelancers online to get
projects done with a shorter duration and minimum expense. Since this concept of online project
outsourcing is new in India and prevalent mostly in the IT sector, the developer is thus limiting his
literature review to activities related to the IT sector only. He is more concerned with the ongoing
research and development work ‘going on in the IT sector, and so the developer wishes to make such a
system that will provide a helping hand to this industry.

3) ACADEMIC RESEARCH

Based upon the preliminary investigation and the existing knowledge, the developer has ‘summarised
and produced an overall summary of his research and findings. Prior to heading towards primary and
secondary research, the developer has intended to review his research work with white papers, journals,
articles, and books related to the existing system.

METHODOLOGY

 The purpose of exploring the fast-growing high-skilled freelance market is software development and
design, as well as the strategies freelance platform providers apply to build trust with freelancers and
client companies. Apart from the above purpose that it achieves, it offers various tools and techniques
to assist in analysis, design, and testing in terms of detailed software design, data flow charts, and
database design. It helps to reduce the risks and minimise the complexities of the project. It provides the
developers with a structured approach for project implementation. Conclusion from Analysis of
Questionnaire On this platform, HTML, CSS, and PHP are used for the implementation of this website.
This system provides some basic module storage, client review, and job recommendation modules. The
function of the storage module is to store the data retrieved from different marketplaces. The client
review module predicts how the feedback provided by the clients for a specific job is completed by the
freelancers. The job recommendation module helps to provide the job or give the work to the freelancer
according to their skills. We discard jobs where the client's rating is low and payment is not verified.
Jobs with a 10-day application deadline are also removed from the list.

It is very important to choose the right development process model because the development of the
system and the quality control activities that need to be performed in the project are specified by the
system development methodology chosen. The types of system development methodologies are:

1. Waterfall Model

2. Spiral Model

DEGREE OF SUCCESS

 It is a well-known fact that the success of a software system greatly depends upon the appropriateness
and timely delivery of the system contents, with all the functional requirements mentioned in the SRS
fulfilled and deployed properly by the developer. The degree of success is determined by comparing the
working functional model of the developed system with those mentioned for the proposed system.

E-Freelancing had a stipulated development time of around 8 months, and this time duration led the
developer to undergo in-depth and extensive research in relevance to the proposed system domain. The
data derived from the research carried out was carefully analysed and applied during the implementation
process. After the implementation of the system was completed, the developer also conducted detailed
testing activities and evaluated the technicality of the system so that the system’s efficiency could be
improved to the maximum extent possible.

LIMITATIONS OF E-FREELANCING

 All the functionalities mentioned in the SRS have been successfully completed. But the proposed idea
had some limitations that were not included in the SRS due to time constraints. Those limitations are
listed below: A backup of the chat conversation cannot be done. The present system does not keep track
of the conversations occurring between clients and freelancers. So, the system cannot provide its users
with any proof of a conversation held between the client and freelancer. The client will be able to see
the profile details of only the current bidder and not the following bidder, and the client cannot bid on
any project once the bidding process starts. Only the current bid will be displayed, not all the bids on
the project. Once a project is allotted to the freelancer, it cannot be undone.

POSSIBLE FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS

 A mobile application for Android or Windows OS can be added: Mobile applications can be developed
for this system, which would further increase its targeted audience and accessibility.

Fund transfers via net banking can be implemented: Online payment is restricted to payment by credit
or debit card.

If net banking is also allowed, it would be easier for the clients to pay the project development fee
directly to the freelancer via net banking.

Include a description after the result in the online certification test: This feature enhancement will
improve the level of the online test, and the freelancers will know why they passed or failed in that
exam.

SMS notification features can be added: It is often not possible for users to be online every time to check
if they have received any bidding-related notifications.

Conclusion

Freelancing helps many people who want to become self-employed and want to work as a part-time employee.
According to many online sources, freelancers earn more money than employees in an office. While this is
important for hiring of any kind, it is even more important to do freelancing, where your name and reputation
are a job to bring in business.

1. People have a sufficient idea of the online bidding of products, whether it be any project or any property.
Only a few people were found who knew nothing about this process but had computer-related basic
knowledge.
2. It was found that nowadays people from all age groups, starting at 13 years of age, are active on social
networking sites.

3. The goal of this system is to shine a light on high-skill freelancers and provide better tasks.

4. The teenagers of the present and the youngsters both working in private or government jobs often face
online exams, and objective questions are preferred by most of the users.
5. People have trust in project outsourcing as it saves a lot of time, which can be applied to other important
activities. For this, people look for domain-specific and skilled developers and freelancers who can
complete their project for the lowest possible amount.
6. Efficient trust building is crucial in freelancing.
