LET’S ANALYZE
1. Human history provides a solid foundation for where we are today. Our history has been
able to ponder crucial moments/things that are indeed valuable in present times because to
the advancement of science and technology. Examples are provided below.
• Cuneiform- the first writing system that gave way to the modern-day writing
system, which is one of the most important aspects of communication, learning,
record keeping, business transactions, and so on. Without a writing system, it
would be difficult for people today to accomplish things that our ancestors did.
• The invention of the wheel caused significant events in human history because it
was one of the causes of globalization and became the key to discovering new
areas. Though the wheel was not invented for transportation, it has become the
most important aspect of human life in the past and in the present.
• Engineering- Without engineering, human history would be incomplete. The
ancient people experimented with this feature for their own benefit. Shelters and
roads, for example, were erected with the assistance of engineering. It was
complemented with architecture that documented the evolution of construction.
The old architectures/structures that still exist today demonstrate the evolution
of human history in terms of building and service.
• Petroleum Refinery- this is another key scientific and technological advancement
that has shaped human history. It is one of the keys that enabled the invention.
For example, machinery cannot function without petroleum. It is required for
power plants and automobiles to operate. Knowing how much the world relies on
these petroleum-powered products, it would be difficult to do anything.
In general, there have been several scientific and technological advancements that
have contributed to the greatness of human history. Both components form the
foundation/basis of how our world moves from the past to the present. It may have
been negative consequences, but they did not outweigh the beneficial effects it had
on everyone.
2. Technology and science have an impact on society in the sense that they help to shape society
into a better place. The application of these discoveries resulted in new knowledge that
motivates society to live better lives and tackle the problems that it encounters. Also, as
communication improved, machinery for food production was invented, and medicine was
discovered, society became more advanced and better. Our society differs from previous ones in
that technological and scientific advancement has not been as rapid in the past, giving us a
concept of how to create a productive society by empowering every individual.
3. Technology and science have an impact on society by helping to transform it into a better
place. The implementation of these discoveries resulted in new information that inspires society
to live better lives and solve challenges. Furthermore, when communication increased,
agricultural machinery was built, and medicine was found, society advanced and improved. Our
society differs from previous ones in that technology and scientific growth has been slower in the
past, providing us with an idea of how to construct a productive society by empowering every
individual.
IN A NUTSHELL
1. The continuous advancement of science and technology has resulted in significant changes in
our society, resulting in both beneficial and negative results in the environment, community,
family, and so on.
2. Even with a lack of materials, knowledge, and talents to something, historical forefathers
manage to excel and survive in their individual eras and combat, which may be a battle for
shelter, food, and life.
