Job Description for Intern - Advisory Services


Reporting to Senior Management

Synergistic Financial Advisors (“SFA”) is providing corporate finance advisory services in Pakistan as well as
in International markets with a primary focus towards the GCC region. SFA is providing analytical services to
renowned Advisory and Private Equity firms located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (“KSA”). SFA seeks an intern
to work under the senior executives to provide financial advisory services to our clients in KSA. Purpose of
the position is to ensure that all relevant information has been gathered and assessed in the most efficient
and cost-effective way, the Resource should be able to analyze data and draw recommendations based on
client’s needs and market research findings (primary and secondary research), keeping in mind the project
scope of work and timeline. Resource should be able to present findings and recommendations in a concise
and visually appealing manner that is convincing and easy to understand.

Job Description
 Assist in conducting primary and secondary market research on KSA markets
 Conduct additional secondary/desktop-based research from reliable sources as required
 Assist in preparing the Power Point slides and perform basic financial analysis
 Involve in the necessary field or desk-based research (on supply and demand analysis, macro and
country economics from reliable sources) and structuring relevant questionnaires
 Help compiling the data gathered into standard research reports and publications using an
appropriate and creative methodology
 Assist in developing ideas and recommendations based on information gathered to design and
organize a project involving quantitative and/or qualitative methods, as required
 Contribute information (as and when acquired) to the SFA database
 Gather and organize information on company, industry and country

Candidate Profile
 Minimum Four years Bachelor's degree (BBA / ACCA/ MBA (Finance)/ CFA or CFA Candidate's (preferred)
 0 to 1 years experience with an Investment Banking, Research firm, or Corporate Finance Advisory firm.
Fresh candidates with interest in corporate finance and strong quantitative background may apply
 Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point required
 Must be an enthusiastic team player, familiar with multi-disciplined projects involving numerous critical
tasks
 Enthusiastic in learning and understanding comprehensive financial models
