RKVY) – Focus on sustainable agriculture.

Krishonnati Yojana (KY) – Address food security &

agricultural self-sufficiency.
Krishonnati Yojana (KY):

Clean Plant Program

Digital Agriculture
Clean Plant Programme (CPP)

● Objective: To provide farmers with high-quality, virus-free

planting material to improve productivity and enhance India’s
position in the global fruit market.

● Significance: Ensures superior produce for consumers,

boosts farmer income, and strengthens India’s export
potential.
Core Components of the CPP

-
1. Clean Plant Centers (CPCs)

Nine specialized CPCs across India for different fruit types,

equipped with modern diagnostics, tissue culture labs, and
therapeutic facilities.

/
-
2. Enhancement of Infrastructure

Develop large-scale nurseries to support efficient

multiplication of clean planting material.
Mother plants from CPCs will be multiplied in
nurseries and distributed to farmers.

[Link] of Regulatory and Certification Process

Ensure accountability and traceability in the production and

sale of planting material.
National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP):

This is a program established by the Indian government to

provide standards for organic production, certification, and
trade.

It aims to ensure the quality of organic products, both for

domestic consumption and export.

It is implemented by APEDA (Agricultural and Processed

Food Products Export Development Authority), under the
Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

How It Works?
NPOP, under APEDA, sets organic standards & regulations.
Accredited Certification Bodies (CBs) inspect, verify, and
certify organic farms & products.
Certified products receive the "India Organic" logo, ensuring t
compliance with NPOP standards.
These certifications are recognized for domestic & export
markets
Key Amendments under 8th Edition:

• Simplified regulatory and certification processes.

• Reduced costs and simplified land application procedures.

• Enhanced transparency through disclosure of information

about organic farmers, growers, and related stakeholders.
NPOP Portal (National Programme for Organic Production)

Purpose: Strengthens India's organic certification system.

Promotes ease of operations for farmers and exporters.

& Eda

Public disclosure of information about organic farmers and

stakeholders.

Simplified certification procedures and reduced land application

costs.
Organic Promotion Portal

Enables showcasing certified organic products globally.

Facilitates farmers,
- FPOs, and exporters in generating trade leads.

Conducts online training & capacity-building sessions.

TraceNet 2.0 Portal

organic traceability from farm to market.

Enhances regulatory compliance & oversight.

Ensures product traceability and adherence to global organic

standards.
AgriXchange Portal (Redesigned)

Offers easy data analysis, reporting, and generation

of agricultural export data.

Facilitates better decision-making for farmers,

traders, exporters.

Connects Indian stakeholders with international

buyers.
APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export
Development Authority):

Establishment: 1985, under the Ministry of Commerce and

Industry.

Headquarters: New Delhi.

Primary Objective: Promotion of export of agricultural and

PGS-India (Participatory Guarantee System):

• Community-based, peer-review organic certification.

• Targets the domestic market and small farmers.
• Operates under the Ministry of Agriculture.
NPOP vs. PGS-India:

larger-scale producers, with more stringent and
internationally recognized standards.

PGS-India, on the other hand, is tailored for domestic

consumption and smaller-scale, localized organic
production.
Jaivik Bharat Logo:

The "Jaivik Bharat" logo is a

unified mark for authentic organic
food in India.

Products certified under either

NPOP or PGS-India are eligible to
use this logo, assuring consumers of
their organic integrity.
Digital Agriculture Mission:

The Digital Agriculture Mission is an umbrella initiative

aimed at supporting various digital agriculture programs

Key Components: AgriStack
AgriStack is a farmer-centric Digital Public Infrastructure
(DPI) aimed at enhancing agricultural services, improving
efficiency, and ensuring transparency
