about the sports of our school. Now I am giving you a short description about it.
The sports day of our school was held on the 10th February. It was a memorable day
for us. We decorated our school campus nicely with coloured paper. Many students of
our school took part in the decoration program. Our program began at 10 a.m. The
principal of our school inaugurated the program by hoisting national flag. The chief
guest sat beside the headmaster. Many boys and girls took part in various events. The
events were races, high jump, long jump, pillow passing, sack race, cock fighting and
musical chair. I took first position in long jump and second position in 100 meter race.
I got two prizes. The guardians and the local people came to watch the events of the
sports day. The prize giving ceremony began at 4.30 p.m. At the end of all events the
chief guest gave away the prizes among the winners. At last the Principal made a
concluding speech and the program came to an end.
