Introduction

An important part of market profitability is being able to keep up with trends, and such is the
motivation that our group had identified in the beginning. Therefore, we gathered our thoughts
resulting in a collaboration of ideas, well enough to suit the tastes of this generation. We brought the
most renowned Filipino crop that had received attention worldwide because of its sweet and delicate
nature; the Ube.

Mission and Vision


- Vision: We want to challenge the tastes of ube combined with the exquisite delicate latte and
a surprise taste of langka usually paired in an iced cold drink such as halo halo.
- Mission: To produce a quality drink able to visualize the true essence of Filipino taste with
the help of caffe latte.
Type of Business
- The business we are to introduce is part of the Service Industry. Where we manage to produce
a product that will satisfy the tastes of our customers.

PART 2

Key Business Operation


- In order to successfully run a business like a café shop, our team must cooperate and follow a
set of process. We must fulfill daily task to ensure successful transfer of management to each
personnel involved in the business.
Menu planning: We gather data and propose a product/ beverage to put in the menu and cater to the
customers preferences. By establishing reliable suppliers for high-quality ingredients, we can ensure
consistency and cost-effectiveness. This is where we also determine the prices of a product that
balances profitability with customer affordability.

Inventory management- Implementing an inventory system to control and track inventory can to
help minimize waste and preventing stock outs. Efficient restocking procedures ensure that
ingredients and supplies are available at all times. To maintain quality and freshness of the food and
beverages we put out we must ensure proper storage condition which involves cleanliness of storage
space.

Customer service- In a café atmosphere and aesthetics comes above with the true experience of
luxury and among customers it is important to create a welcoming and comfortable space that
encourages them to linger and return. Training the staffs to provide excellent customer service, it is a
significant part in starting a business in the service industry, this allows the staffs to address inquiries
and handle complaints of the customers with professionalism.

Staff management- Through hiring qualified staffs including baristas, servers, and kitchen staffs we
can manage efficient use of resources. While also providing training with coffee preparation,
customer service and maintaining food safety. We can develop efficient scheduling to cover peak
hours and maintain staffing levels. With this we hope to foster positive work environment and
motivates staff in providing excellence.
Financial Management- Creating a budget and tracking budget expenses can ensure profitability.
Manage cash flow effectively to avoid financial problems, by setting prices that are more affordable
than of competitors but still maintaining profitability.

Marketing and Sales- By developing a strong brand identity that resonates with our target market we
should maintain a social media presence and promote our business through the internet with the help
of our website, which can help us engage with our target market. We can offer promotions and sales
to help attract customers.

Type of Business
- The effort of our team provides the stature of this business to be a corporation under the
authority of the MSTIP faculty with the help of our Market Research Professor Dr. Nelson
Nico.

- In order to fully maximize the efforts of our team in making this business possible, we have
made an organizational chart that visualize the organizational hierarchy of the company.

Job Description
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and brewing methods.
Provide recommendations and suggest alternative drinks or food items.
Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and customer areas.
Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Food Preparation (if applicable):
Prepare and serve pastries, sandwiches, or other food items, following recipes and quality standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks, such as slicing ingredients, preparing sandwiches, or assembling
baked goods.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and replenish stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
Follow procedures for receiving and storing inventory.
Report any shortages or issues to management.
Hygiene and Safety:
Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, following food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Clean and disinfect equipment and surfaces regularly.
Ensure proper storage of food and beverages.
Other Duties:
Assist with opening or closing procedures, such as setting up the coffee bar or stocking shelves.
Help maintain the cleanliness of the cafe, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
