1.1 Acceptance Criteria

This guide is written based on the actual conditions of Huawei equipment.

1.2 Introduction
This document provides guidance for onsite acceptance tests of smart transformer
stations (STSs).
This document applies to JUPITER-3000K-H1, JUPITER-6000K-H1, and
JUPITER-9000K-H1.
This document consists of three parts:
Part I Overview: describes the acceptance criteria, introduction, and precautions.
Part II Tests Before STS Operation: describes the acceptance items, test methods,
and criteria for tests performed before the STS main loop is powered on.
Part III STS Operation Tests: describes the STS test items performed after the STS
main loop is powered on.

1.3 Numbering Specifications for Acceptance Items

Numbering specifications for acceptance items
Four-digit numeration
An acceptance item is numbered in the format of TXX-XX.
The meaning of the acceptance item number is as follows.

Smart Transformer Station
Acceptance Test Guide 1 Part I Overview

1.4 Precautions

NOTICE

● Personnel who will operate the equipment, including operators, trained

personnel, and professionals, should possess the required local national
qualifications in special operations such as high-voltage operations, working at
heights, and operations of special equipment.
● If there is a likelihood of personal injury or equipment damage during
operations, stop immediately, report the case to the supervisor, and take
feasible protective measures.
● Use tools correctly to prevent personal injury and equipment damage.
● When operating the equipment, wear high-voltage insulation gloves, a safety
helmet, insulation shoes, and insulation clothing. When commissioning and
operating the ring main unit, operate the secondary compartment using an
insulated stool.

After arriving at the site, the installation personnel should follow the instructions
and precautions in the user manual and installation guide of the corresponding
Huawei product and pay attention to the following points:

1. Huawei personnel need to discuss with the customer to specify the owner of
each party. The owners are responsible for coordination during the project
installation.
2. Before the kickoff, the two parties need to formulate the project schedule. For
all events that may affect the project schedule, both parties need to specify
reasons and provide solutions in written form.
3. The engineering personnel should check the site environment according to
the requirements specified in the product preparation guide. If the site
environment meets the requirements for project kickoff, the personnel will
start accepting the products and filling in the acceptance list. If there are
missing, incorrect, or damaged parts, contact Huawei in a timely manner to
deliver those parts as soon as possible.
4. The personnel must install the hardware with caution according to the user
manual. After the installation is complete, assign relevant personnel in a
timely manner to perform the equipment acceptance inspection.
5. Both parties need to perform the equipment acceptance and preliminary
acceptance test in strict accordance with relevant standards. Some indicators

and parameters have already been tested before delivery. Such items can be
omitted or spot-checked.
6. After the acceptance tests are passed, the system can be commissioned for
operation.
7. The test tools mentioned in this guide are for reference only.

NOTE

Acceptance tests should be performed in compliance with the contract and conventions
agreed by both parties. This guide only serves as a reference.
