Shear Design Example

The document outlines the design process for a simply supported beam made of C25/30 concrete and grade 500 steel, detailing the calculations for longitudinal reinforcement, shear links, and deflection checks. It provides analysis results including maximum moments and shear forces, as well as the required and provided areas of reinforcement. The design meets the necessary requirements for both shear and deflection limits as per Eurocode guidelines.
