1. INTRODUCTION
The Brazilian government published the Complementary Law No. 214 on January 16, 2025,
introducing the new taxes: Contribution on Goods and Services (CBS) and Tax on Goods
and Services (IBS - State and Municipal). You need to configure these taxes in your systems to
comply with this legal change.

1.1 PURPOSE
This document guides you through configuring your system to comply with the new taxes from
the tax reform. At this stage, you should perform manual steps to create the necessary data in
the system.
After following the procedures in this document, your system can use two of the new taxes, CBS,
and IBS (State and Municipal), in sales documents like sales orders and billing documents.

1.2 DISCLAIMER
SAP delivers configurations for the RVXBRA standard. If some of the configurations delivered
do not meet your business requirements, you must make the necessary adjustments.

1.3 PREREQUISTE
It is essential to implement SAP Note 3556404 in your system and perform all the manual steps,
except for step 3.6 (Adjust Pricing Procedure).
2. DEFAULT SETTINGS DELIVERED BY BC SET
Steps to upload and activate BC Sets
1. Go to Transaction SCPR20.
2. Click the BC Set option and select Upload.
3. Choose the BC Set files from either point 2.1 or 2.2. Ensure you select the correct
Software Component.
4. Upload and activate the BC Sets.
5. Click Activate BC Set.

2.3 DISCLAIMER
Once the BCSet is activated, it's essential to review the RVXBRA pricing procedure steps and
ranges. For instance, in Step 605 (CBS3 Condition Type), the range is set from 320 to 590,
meaning all steps within this range will be included in the CBS3 calculation. If you have the
standard RVXBRA pricing procedure, you must remove the steps 329 and 595 manually.
Otherwise, you should verify the pricing procedure steps and ranges to ensure it aligns with your
business requirements.
3. CONFIGURATION STEPS FOR THE NEW TAXES
The settings mentioned in this topic are the ones required to enable the new taxes.
Note that some configurations are delivered within the BC Set attached in the SAP Note. In
case you have already activated the BC Set, some of these configurations may already be
available in your system.

3.1 ADJUST PRICING PROCEDURE (Optional)

To configure the RVXBRA pricing procedure for new taxes, ensure the Net Base line appears
after the Price and Discount (Value) line. Create a new line to be used as the Net Base
Reference, adding this line after the discount and freight lines (after the ICMI and before the
IBRX line). Configure it as statistical and use the Net Base line's value as a reference (from
step). Finally, configure the new taxes in the RVXBRA pricing procedure, adding them,
preferably, after the IBRX line, with the account key defined and based on the value range
between the Material (K004) and Net Base Reference steps, as shown below. You have also to
update the from step and to step columns value of IBRX line, to consider the value range
between the ICMI line and one line before the Net Base Reference line. In the same way, you
must update the from step column value of the tax totalizer line, to consider the new taxes’ lines.

To maintain the pricing procedure, you can access Change View “Procedures”: Overview
(V/08) transaction, find and select RVXBRA in the list and click in Procedure – Control Data in
the tree.
Note: Although there are four new taxes, we are delivering three condition types. These are the
taxes that will have initial validation for 2026. Since the IS tax comes into force in 2027, it will be
included in future delivery.

3.2 MAINTAIN MAPPING CUSTOMIZING VIEW (Optional)

You must update the SD Tax Conditions in Nota Fiscal Fields (J_1BNFTXCONDV) view to
RVXBRA, to contain the new taxes.
To maintain this view, you can access Table View Maintenance: Initial Screen (SM30)
transaction, enter J_1BNFTXCONDV (SD Tax Conditions in Nota Fiscal Fields) view, determine
the usage as A, the application as V and the pricing procedure as RVXBRA and then configure
the mapping for the new tax types.
