Ans: This is the picture of a library. Some pupils are there in the library. They are busy. They are
helping the librarian. They are trying to arrange the books in a proper way. Kiril is arranging some books
in a shelf. Krupa has some books in her hand. She is giving them to Kirit. Mohit is making notes in the
register. He is going through the list of books and trying to check whether any book is missing or not.
Anand is keeping some books on the table near Mohit. Two books are lying on the table. It’s good to
see them taking interest in library and books.
7. Describe the picture in about ten sentence.

Ans: Here are some pictures. They tell us about the rules of the road and also about some good
manners. These picture tell us what we should do and what we should not do. The first picture says,
“We should form a queue at the bus-stop. Second picture is an indication of silence zone. It says,
“Don’t blow horn.” This means that we should not blow horn in such silence zone. Picture number three
tells us not to take ‘U’ turn as it is prohibited and against traffic rule. Picture number four tells us that
we should drive slowly and carefully for our safety. It is a library. The instruction says, “Silence please.”
It means the readers should not talk in the library. In picture number six the instruction says, “Don’t
pluck flowers.” Flowers add to the beauty of a garden. Picture number seven tells us, “Use the dust bin.”
This tells us that we should keep our surroundings neat and clean.

Ans: Rakesh’s friend Mehul is on a visit to Rakesh’s house. Rakesh wel-comes him warmly. First of all
he introduces Mehulto his father. Rakesh says, “Papa, this is Mehul my bust friend.” Manubhai,
Rakesh’s father greets him. Mehu! says to Manubhai, “Pranam and good morning, uncle, how are you
?“ Manubhai says to him. “Good morning, find, Thank you.” Then Rakesh introduces all his family-
members to Mehul. He introduces Mehul to his sister Beena and to his mother Rekhaben. Mehul is very
happy to meet the family members of Rakesh. Rakesh and his parents are also happy.

Ans: This is a set of six pictures. They narrate different activities. In the first picture, the pupils are
sitting in their class room. In the second picture we can see that the pupils are performing a dance.
They are learning dance. Look at the third picture. The pupils are saying a prayer. In the fourth picture,
we can see some pupils taking their breakfast. It may be recess time. See, some pupils are playing,
perhaps they are playing ‘Hide and Seek’. Look at the last picture of the set. Two pupils are drawing
pictures. They are painting the pictures.

Ans: These pictures narrate the story of a race between a hare and a tortoise. Both the hare and the
tortoise had a competition. Both started running. The hare ran faster. The tortoise couldnot run so fast
as the hare. it was far behind. The hare thought that he could win the race so he decided to sleep for a
while. While the hare was sleeping, the tortoise over took him and almost reached the winning post. The
hare suddenly woke up, looked around, but couldn’t see the tortoise around and was worried. He ran as
fast as he could but it was all in vain. It was of no use. The tortoise had reached the winning post and
won the race. Always remember, “Slow and steady wins the race.”

a picnic. They are in the park. There are benches, a swing and a sea show in the park. Two children

fountain in the park. Three children are sitting on the wall of the tank. All seem to be in a festive, happy

safely. Now they are safe.
