• An update on status of digital portal for crowd funding and voluntary donations for patients of rare
disease has been released by Department of Health and Family Welfare.

bacterial pathogen of public health importance.

• Antibiotics are included in schedule H1 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, and required be sold by retail
only under the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.
• Container of the medicine for treatment of food producing animals shall be labelled with the
withdrawal period of the drug for the species on which it is intended to be used.
• Sales and distribution of drugs are regulated under Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and rules by

• Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across States (Tele-MANAS).
• Objective: To provide free tele-mental health services all over the country, particularly to people in
remote or under-served areas.

o Estimated cost of Project: Rs 44,605 crore (year 2020-21 price level).

Betwa Link Project Authority (KBLPA)].
o The project is planned to be completed in period of 8 years.
• The Special Committee for Interlinking of Rivers (SCILR) in its 20th meeting approved the proposal of
integration of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) with the Parbati-Kalisindh-Chambal link and
the Modified Parbati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) link.
• It will particularly help in the drinking water needs of 13 districts of Rajasthan and 7 districts of Madhya
Pradesh.
