First day of OJT (Observing and Familiarizing)

In this picture, I took a pic of my classmate while he’s assembling the parts in motherboard

In this Second Picture, I do the same thing of my Classmate because this is our first task in our first day

I took a pic in this parts because I need to familiarize things, because the technician said that we need to
familiarize on this kind of thing
 III. Weekly diary (Narrative Account of Learnings and Achievement, Issues Faced, and
Corresponding Resolution)

First Week (Nov. 13, 2023- Nov. 19, 2023)

First Day - in our company is good we do a assemble, disassemble the CPU and we install the operating
system (windows 10)

Day 2 – we installed operating system in remaining pc because in our first day 10 PC arrived so our task
in 2nd is to install the OS and download some applications in system unit

Day 3 – we clean the store and clean the monitors, CPUs and parts. After that we encouraged one
customer so we build 6 PCs to him and our manager treat us snacks

Day 4 – we’d install the system unit that we build yesterday we install it a operating system and
application and afternoon I take down notes what we do that day

Day 5 – we clean the store and take some breakfast we don’t have customer in that day and our
manager is her day off too, so we go in mall and explore it and afternoon we watch in pc how to manage
cable properly

Day 6 - The lunch that our boss at the company supplied us was free and really tasty. There were
occasionally clients, but once more, the issues they were seeking assistance with were outside the
control of what we knew. One issue for which I have discovered a potential fix is that if a laptop turns on
while its charger is plugged in but not when it is not, the battery is likely the issue.

Day 7 - I discovered that if a laptop's interior is soaked it's likely that everything else was as well. Just as
there are variations in laptop models, so too do the methods for opening them. Prior to disassembling,
be sure to ascertain which is which.

Day 8 - We helped a customer who purchased numerous SSDs and other computer parts from our
business move goods upstairs and downstairs. We observe our professionals during the full laptop repair
process so that we can pick up a few tips. For instance, I learned recently that some laptop components
require the usage of "hot air" to melt soldered components.

Day 9 - We assisted in the packaging of a family's purchase of a PC set, keyboard, monitor, mouse,
printer, and system unit at our store, after which they carried the goods downstairs. We discovered the
hard way that it might be difficult to negotiate prices because sellers and customers can both be
stubborn.

Day 10 – First thing to do in the morning we clean the store and when the manager in the company we
take some breakfast and go to other building to get the parts for the PC we are going to build and after
that we take some lunch and after that we installed OS the PC and download some application that need
of my customer

Day 11 – This day when our manager got to the store, we packed the PC’s, keyboard, mouse, headset
and Monitor we deliver it to company too but the PC is high end but we don’t think it anymore, our
manager treat us in Mang Inasal for reward that we’ve accomplished the task for that day.

Day 12- Since this day we don’t have work to do I reviewed some of my notes and know others that I
didn’t know and asked my guide or technician in our store to what I am going to do in that thing and
teach me how to do it, and that is what I do in that day

Day 13 - In this day I noticed that in storage room there’s an not stable PC’s, so I work on them I get one
PC and I check or consult it, and the afternoon I only finished is 6 PC’s because it’s hard to know what is
the problem on that system unit and maybe it has multiple problem on that system unit.

Day 14 – In this day we had a customer that we encouraged him to buy in our company because we are
selling the parts in a good price that he can afford and moreover he will have a 4in1 that has on inside a
Keyboard, Mouse, Headset and Mouse Pad. The customer like it so he bought 4 PCs to build a business
on they province

Day 15 – We’ve started to build the PC and after that we installed it an OS and download some
application that needed and to the afternoon he came and check all the PC if it’s in a good condition and
the specs

Day 16 – In this day we don’t have any customer we just talk all day of the technician of our company,
ask him how was the life of being technician and so many things that we’ve asked to him

Day 17 – In this day we clean the store, do some maps and to the afternoon someone go inside while we
are taking our lunch and he asked for how much for a good PC that we are selling in our store so our
technician talked to him and offer him in a good price so he ordered 8 PC and we just build in that day is

Day 18 – Our last day in Gilmore so we’ve finished the remaining PC that we need to finish and after that
our manager treat us before we leave the Gilmore, after that we go to Jollibee and after that we thank
them for teaching us that we need to learn, hope they accept OJT’s Student to help them that had an
experience on building PC or work as a TECHNICIAN.

As an ICT student I learned things about computer and many things that related in our strand, I thought
things would be easier because I am a fast learner if the things is about computer , but it was just my
thought it is hard because it’s hard to know and memorize that thing since I am eager to learn things
about computer so I work on it and expand my knowledge on that field I learned as much as possible
things that, in summary I learned many things before I left Gilmore I learned Basic Troubleshooting,
Install OS, Download Application, Build PC and Proper Cable Management.
