Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review of Documents.

corrective actions with the construction team
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and material approvals.
• Ensure that all civil works such as brickwork, masonry, plastering, and flooring
are done to the correct standards and as per specifications.
• Ensure proper compaction and density of soil beneath foundations using tests
such as the Proctor Test and Field Density Test.
• Inspecting road works from sub base to asphalt works and witnessing on site
testing.
• Performing site inspection for Architectural works such as Non-bearing block
work installation, plastering, floor screed, Marble flooring, tiles work, hand rails
and metal grating works, painting, thermal insulation for outdoor walls, dry wall
partition, Door and Windows Glass work, vault substructure with finishes, wall
cladding, GRP, Baffles and suspended metal ceiling installation
• Raised NCR for the works proceed through the hold point. Prepare and send the
surveillance report for the work being followed by the contractors against the
method statement
• Responsible in Raising INCR and Closing the ENCR raised by clients.
• Reviewed materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples,
materials and equipments and report finding to RE. Check the material
delivered to site is properly stored and report discrepancies.
• Maintained detailed documentation of inspections, test results, and
compliance records.
• Responsible in Conducting Quality TBT for the workers and technicians.
• Ensure material test certificate (MTC) or MTR are Provided or match
the material delivered
• Verify that reinforcement bars (rebar) comply with the required grade,
diameter, and placement as per the design
• Inspect the formwork to ensure it is correctly positioned, aligned, and
stable before pouring concrete.
• Use tools like auto-levels & Total Station to ensure proper alignment,
leveling, and positioning of structural elements such as columns,
beams, and foundations in accordance with the approved design and
project specifications
• Ensure that steel beams & Column & LGS are properly aligned, leveled,
and secured during installation.
• Inspect all column-to-column or column-to-beam connections to
ensure they are securely fastened by performing a torque test
• Manhole and Catch Basin Construction: Supervise the construction of
manholes, catch basins, and other drainage components to ensure
they are correctly installed and accessible
• Verify that the correct grout mix and materials are used for the column
grouting. This includes checking for compliance with the specified
grade, type, and quality of the grout.

• Supervise the backfilling of utility trenches, ensuring the material used

maintenance contracts, privately constructed landscape improvements
• Check for obstructions. Photograph and documents the condition of existing property
that might be damaged by the work. Make sure the all existing structures, property,
utilities and landscaping are properly protected.
• Performing reinstatement (Restoration) inspections on piping system test package
• Co-coordinating with Engineers if any Issues and Solving it.
• Preparing the punch lists (before and after pressure test) for the test packages.
• Assisting inspection and testing procedure of piping
• Prepare the punch list and witness of closing punch list
• Involving payment event with quantity surveyor and verifying the submission prior
to submitting to client.
• Assisting site team for red line marked up drawings and submit as-built for
approval.
• Co-ordinate with Consultant, Contractor, Project Manager, draftsmen, and suppliers
during the execution of work on site.
• Preparing QVF (Quality verification file) documentation along with QS for submitting
PE (Payment event) to the client on monthly basis.
