""There's no need to look for his tracks," said the woodcutter. "I'll take you to the
lion." The hunter turned pale. "The l-lion," he said, "no, no, just show me his

Passage - 2

In a lush green jungle, there lived an elephant named Ella. Ella was not only strong,
but also very caring. She often helped other animals in the forest. One hot summer
day, the jungle’s waterhole dried up, leaving all the animals thirsty.

Ella decided to help. Using her muscular trunk, she dug deep into the dirt until water
began to flow. All of the animals were pleased and grateful for her efforts. Ella
explained that helping others makes her happy.

The next day, a small bird got stuck in a thorny bush. Ella gently moved her trunk to
free the bird. The bird chirped, “Thank you, Ella.” “You are a true friend.” Ella
smiled and went about her day, knowing that simple acts of kindness can make a big
difference.
