Adjustment of the unbalance
Safety Specifications for the safe execution of the works:
• Disconnect the motor from the voltage supply and secure it against being
reconnected accidentally.
• Both unbalance weights have to be adjusted equally.
• The unbalance has to be adjusted “as small as possible and as high as
necessary").
• Comply with the specifications for the tightening torques (vibrating
component!).
Sequential steps
Fig.1
Fig.2
Fig.3
1. Disconnect the motor.
2. Remove the covering hoods (fig.1).
3. Loosen the lock of the movable mass (screw, nut) (fig.2).
4. Adjust the movable mass to the required value of the percentage scale
(fig.3).
5. The screw and the nut of the lock of the movable mass have to be
tightened by means of a torque wrench (fig.3).
6. The steps 3 – 5 have to be carried out for the other movable mass. Make
sure that both sides are adjusted to the same value on the percentage
scale.
7. Mount the covering hoods.

Lubricants In standard, the grease quantity of the bearing lubricant that has been introduced
is sufficient for the bearing service life of the device (“for-life-lubrication“ ).
Under extreme conditions of application (24h operation with high
environmental temperatures) regular lubrication is recommended for some
devices. These devices are equipped with a grease nipple for lubrication.
Depending on the operating speed the following lubricants are recommended:
Interval Speed rpm Lubricant
up to 3000 or higher KLUEBER type ISOFLEX NBU 15
1000 – 5000h up to 1800 KLUEBER type STABURAGS NBU 8 EP
600 – 720 KLUEBER type ISOFLEX NBU 15
