29th October 2025

Letter of Invitation
Dear Principals and Faculty,

We are pleased to announce that Lahore Grammar School, Link Road will be
hosting its One-Day English Literature Festival on 29th October 2025, from 8:00
AM to 3:00 PM. This festival is not merely a competition—it is a celebration of the
written and spoken word, where imagination takes form and voices find strength.

Over the course of the day, delegates will embark on a journey through five
categories:
Talesmiths, where every participant must weave stories out of unexpected
prompts;
Literary Press, a fusion of wit and literary knowledge;
Spoken Word Slam, an arena for powerful expression and original voice;
The Grand Spelling Bee Showdown, testing precision under pressure;
The Orator’s Arena, where reason and rhetoric collide in debate.

Each category has been crafted to challenge not just memory, but creativity,
eloquence, and critical thought—qualities that lie at the very heart of literature.
Delegations may consist of 3–4 students, with every participant competing in
Talesmiths and two additional categories of their choice.
At LGS Link Road, we believe literature is more than words on a page—it is a force
that shapes ideas, sparks dialogue, and unites communities. Through this festival, we
hope to provide young voices with a stage to showcase their brilliance and celebrate
the timeless art of language.
We look forward to welcoming your delegation to an unforgettable day of words,
wonder, and expression. For further details and confirmation, please contact our
