Good day!
I am writing to formally apply for the position of Secondary Science Teacher at Marian College, Inc. I am
passionate about inspiring young minds to explore the wonders of science and helping them develop a
love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology major in Medical Biology and am currently enrolled in the
Master of Arts in Biology program at Jose Rizal Memorial State University, Main Campus. I have also
gained valuable teaching experience at Jose Rizal Memorial State University, Tampilisan Campus, where
I handled science-related subjects and engaged with diverse learners. Through this role, I strengthened my
instructional strategies, classroom management skills, and ability to create interactive and inquiry based
learning experiences aligned with the standards of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Beyond teaching, I actively participated in environmental and community outreach activities such as the
International Coastal Clean-Up Drive organized by Xavier Agricultural Extension Services Foundation,
Inc. (XAESFI-INSPIRE), where I volunteered in coastal clean-up efforts in Zamboanga Sibugay. These
experiences strengthened my advocacy for environmental stewardship, which I integrate into my science
teaching to help students understand the relevance of scientific principles to realword issues.
I am impressed by Marian College, Inc.’s dedication to combining faith-based values with quality
education, and I am eager to contribute to this noble mission. I am confident that my academic
preparation, teaching experience, research background, and community involvement will allow me to be
an effective and inspiring educator for your students.
