MSCastingUnit:- - A
steel casting is the product formed by pouring molten steel into a mold cavity. The liquid
steel cools and solidifies in the mold cavity and is then removed for cleaning. Heat treating
may be required to meet desired properties.

Machine & tool:-
1. Power Press Machine:- power press machine works on the principle of
reforming the metal sheet by applying the required force. The major parts are a
bed, ram, clutch, flywheel, and crankshaft. Upper and lower dies are attached to
ram and once work piece placed on the bed is fed to the machine,
and operation initiated.
2. Lathe Machine:- a lathe is a machine tool that rotates a workpiece about an axis
of rotation to perform various operations such
as cutting, sanding, knurling, drilling, deformation, facing, and turning, with tools
that are applied to the work piece to create an object with symmetry about that

4. MNTR MACHINE:- milling is the process of machining using rotary cutters to

A) Manual Vernier

graduation on the side of the tool. Often used in slots and dimensioning recesses of parts.
