Logging in to the platform
To log in for the first time: NOTE: When logging in for the first time, you will be prompted to accept REP site Terms & Conditions
• Enter your Employee ID as well as set your password
Employees, Residents & Fellows - Use your 8-digit Employee
ID number as your USERNAME
Attending Physicians - Use your 6-digit CPSA number leading
with MS (MS123456) as your USERNAME
• Click Login
• Click Reset Password and follow the instructions
(receive email in AHS associated email to validate
account)
• Agree to terms of use

Navigating Your Home Page
This section provides an overview of the homepage layout
and functionality for:
• Instructors
• Program Administrators
While the interface is similar across roles, some features
may vary slightly depending on your permissions.
Note: In REP, each AHS user will maintain a single account.
For example, Program Administrators will have the ability
to create, manage, and submit rosters, while also
participating in courses as learners using the same
account.

Left Side Bar Navigation
This menu is your primary navigation tool.
Home: Returns you to your homepage & provides
selections related to your permissions.
Find A Course: Search for available courses re: date,
location, course, or course code.
Schedule Course: Create, clone, or manage course
offerings.
Certifications: View and manage certification & proof of
completion records.
People: Access participant and instructor profiles.
Help: Contact Heart & Stroke RSC helpdesk + link to User
Guides on Insite.
Log Out: Securely exit the platform.

• Option to select online learning course as a learner
• Reminder of outstanding rosters to submit. Click on
the course name, review student information and
*attendance status to submit.
• Toggle between day, week, or month to see all courses
relevant or assigned to you.

Outstanding Rosters and Marking Learner
Status:
*To submit a roster, learner online status must show as
completed with all in-person course requirements met.
• Registered - registered for the in-person course
• Cancelled - they cancelled prior to the course start
time, online was not completed or online is expired
• No Show - did not show for in-person course while still
registered
• Successful - completed online course prior to in-
person course and successfully completed all in-person
course requirements.
• Unsuccessful - did not satisfactorily meet all course
requirements to earn a certification
• Needs Remediation - option to remediate skills within
30 days of in-person course for a certification.
(available on provider or renewal courses only)
Reminder to submit rosters immediately after the course

Find a Course
Search for available courses re: date filter, open search for
location(s) or course name, or simply enter the course
code if known.
Courses will display at the bottom of the page
View Selection options:
All Courses – View every course scheduled in REP.
I am a Student – Search for courses open or reserved for
student registration.
I am the Instructor – View courses you are scheduled to
teach or have taught.
I am the Program Admin – View courses you created.
Register for a Course
To register, review the course description and details, then
select “Register.” A green confirmation banner will appear,
and a notification will be sent to your email. If needed, you
may also unregister directly from this page.
Unregister for a Course
If needed, you may unregister from a course by selecting your
course from the home page and click unregister

Schedule a Course #1 #2 #3
#1 - Select drop-down menu for course name selections.
Selecting 1 of 3 course names will populate corresponding
course description below
#2 Select a location – if a location/site is not currently
listed, please contact BLS@[Link]
#3 - Select Open or Reserved – open will allow any learner
to register whereas reserved will be limited to learners
described in the space below – wording re: naming
conventions?
Enter the following data:
• Date, time and estimated course duration in hours
• Select active instructor(s) from drop-down menu
• Set maximum learner capacity for the course –
minimum for all Heart & Stroke courses is 3.
• Instructors/PAs can add additional information for
learners such as parking, room number, or examples
such as:
“Please ensure you have your proof of online course completion
to present to the instructor.”
“Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Parking
available in south lot”
“The session will start on time with no late entries permitted.”
To save your course, click Schedule Course
You can review any scheduled courses from your home page

Note: A red error message when adding an instructor
indicates they do not currently hold active instructor status
with Heart & Stroke and cannot be added to the course.
Please advise the instructor to contact our Support Centre
through the Help page for assistance in resolving their
status.

Edit a Course
Select any course from your home page to edit, clone, or
cancel.
Learners and Instructors associated with the course will
receive an email notification with all updated session
changes.
Optional: Use the Additional Info box to communicate
specific course detail changes or edits to users.
To save your edits, click Edit Course
Clone a Course
Select any course from your home page to edit, clone, or
cancel.
Review and edit all course details as needed.
To save your new cloned course, click Schedule Course

Cancel a Course
To cancel a course, the instructor or PA is required to enter
a reason into the free text box. Note: this information will
be visible to all learners, instructors and PAs attached to
the course.
All learners and instructors will receive a course
cancellation email notification.
Certifications
Displays your active certifications and proof of completions
– download action is available direct from this screen on
the right side
People
Select from All, My Team, or My Students
Utilize search function to search for contacts and view
details related to course registrations.

Help
Select type of inquiry from the drop-down menu, enter a
subject and description of the inquiry. Click submit
Once your inquiry is submitted, a support case number will
be generated, and you will receive an email notification
confirming that the support team will follow up.
Link to all users guides housed on AHS Insite are available
on the Help tab.
Any additional questions or concerns can be sent to
BLS@[Link]
