1.1. ATIS
D-ATIS 126.8

1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)


LVP shall be implemented when either TDZ, MID or END RVR is less than 800m
and/or ceiling is less than 200'.
RWY vacation boards have been provided at a distance of 160m from RWY center-
line on TWYs A, B, C, D and E.
ACFT shall enter and exit RWY via TWY C; arriving ACFT taxi to stands 11 to 14.
During CAT II, CAT IIIA or CAT IIIB ILS visibility conditions Follow-me service
will be provided to arriving/departing ACFT on request.
Taxi routing for departures from stands 11 to 14:
- push-back and start-up abeam stand 6 clear of TWY C;
- taxi to CAT II/CAT IIIA/CAT IIIB holding position RWY 27 via TWY C.

1.3. TAXI PROCEDURES


All ACFT should exercise caution while taxiing in and out with low power from
apron.
HST-D and TWY E can not be used simultaneously.

2 . ARR I V AL
2.1. CAT II/III OPERATIONS
RWY 27 approved for CAT II/III operations, special aircrew and ACFT certifica-
tion required.

3 . D E P AR T U R E
3.1. START-UP AND PUSH-BACK PROCEDURES
Push-back shall not be approved to an ACFT until other ACFT taxiing on taxilane
is clear of the stand of ACFT requesting push-back.
Only one push-back at a time is approved from stands 11 thru 14.
TWY C is blocked when ACFT push-back abeam stands 10, 11 and 12. No arrival/
departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.
ATC shall mention the direction of push-back and taxilane in push-back
clearances.
Start-up can be given after completion of push-back.
180^ turns on aprons, TWYs and taxilanes shall not be given and approved by ATC
to ACFT.
Stands 1 thru 14 are power-in and push-back stands. Power-out shall not be per-
mitted from these stands.
Ensuring correct push-back on taxilane as per instructions received from ATC is
the responsibility of airline operator. All ACFT shall be pushed back up to the
specified push-back position marking (i.e., the nose wheel of the ACFT shall be at
the point where the stand lead-in line meets the ACFT stand taxilane) correspond-
ing to the stand from which push-back was commenced unless otherwise
instructed by ATC.
Clearance of ACFT on apron from ground handling equipment, vehicular traffic is
the responsibility of Ground handling agents and airline operators.

FROM STAND 14 (CODE C, D AND E ACFT)


- Push-back and start-up shall be facing only East abeam stand 12.
- Taxi out via TWY B.
- TWY C is blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 12.
- No arrival/departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.

FROM STAND 13 (CODE D AND E ACFT)


Push-back may be given facing West or East depending upon the traffic flow on
TWY B and C.
Facing East:
- Push-back and start-up facing East abeam stand 12.
- Taxi out via TWY B.
- TWY C is blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 12.
- No arrival/departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.
Facing West:
- Push-back facing West abeam stand 9.
- Start-up shall be given only when ACFT is abeam stand 9.
- Taxi out via TWY D/E.
- TWY C will be blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 9.
- No arrival/departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.
- Arrival can vacate via TWY B to park at stand 12, 13 and 14.

FROM STAND 13 (CODE C ACFT)


Push-back may be given facing West or East depending upon the traffic flow on
TWY B and C.
Facing East:
- Push-back and start-up facing East abeam stand 12.
- Taxi out via TWY B.
- TWY C will be blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 12.
- No arrival/departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.
Facing West:
- Push-back and start-up may be given facing West abeam stand 13.
- Taxi out via TWY C/D/E.
- TWY B is blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 13.

- No arrival/departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.
Facing West:
- Push-back and start-up may be given facing West abeam stand 12.
- Taxi out via TWY C/D/E.
- TWY B will be blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 12.

FROM STAND 11 (CODE C ACFT)


Push-back may be given facing West or East depending upon the traffic flow on
TWY B and C and RWY in use.
Facing East:
- Push-back and start-up facing East abeam stand 11.
- Taxi out via TWY B only.
- TWY C is blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 11.
- No arrival/departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.
- For taxing out via TWY C the ACFT may be advised to continue the push-back
abeam stand 10.
Facing West:
- Push-back and start-up may be given facing West abeam stand 11.
- Taxi out via TWY D/E.
- TWY C is blocked when ACFT pushes back abeam stand 11.
- No arrival/departure shall taxi in/out via TWY C.

FROM STAND 10 (CODE C ACFT)


Push-back may be given facing West or East depending upon the traffic flow on
TWY B and C and RWY in use.
Facing East:
- Push-back and start-up facing East abeam stand 10.
- Taxi out via TWY C or B.

LOSS OF COMMUNICATION PROCEDURE


When RADAR vectoring is provided for pilot interpreted final approach aid, following radio
communication failure procedure shall be applicable:

1. If radio communication failure takes place prior to interception of final approach track,
aircraft shall MAINTAIN the last assigned altitude or 3500 whichever is higher and proceed
to LKN VOR via shortest route to join the holding procedure. After joining the holding
procedure aircraft shall carry out the instrument approach procedure for which RADAR
vectoring was provided.

2. If radio communication failure occurs after interception of the final approach track,
aircraft should continue the approach and land if visual or carry out the missed approach
and join the LKN VOR holding at 3500. After joining the holding procedure aircraft shall
carry out the instrument approach procedure for which RADAR vectoring was provided.
