Quarter 2-Module 2: The Search Engine

At the end of the lesson the student should be able to;
a. Define what is search engine
b. Enumerate most commonly used search engine
c. Use any kinds of search engines in finding
information

B. MOTIVATION
Using a ¼ sheet of paper, the teacher will ask the
students to list down 3 words that they can associate
with the word search.

[Link]: UNSCRAMBLE ME!!!!!!
The teacher will group the students into 2 groups.
Each group will be given a picture with scramble
letters then they will arrange the letters to form the
correct words.
They will only given 5 minutes to finish their task.
After that each group will post their work on the
board and shows it to the class.
Who among the group finish first they will get extra
5 points.

The teacher will ask different questions for the
students to ponder.
Questions:

The teacher will now furtherly explain and deliver

It is a website through which users can search
internet content
It is a tool within a web browser
Program that searches for and identifies items
in a database that corresponds to keywords or
characters specified by the user.
It is used mainly for finding particular sites on
the World Wide Web.
Offers you a potential site that are related to
the topic you searched.

nowadays;

Basic steps in using search engine
