INTRODUCTION
We have developed application on “Flight
Booking Management System”. Through this Application
we are handling all management part in this process like
information about passengers, which include passenger
name, phone no, address, booking date and information
like all his/her contact details which is fill in applications
form. As well as all calculation of bills and reports where
all are computerized.
Flight Booking Management System will hold
flight schedules and its fare tariffs, passenger reservations
and ticket records. It saves time as it allows online
procedure as users no longer to wait in a queue to book the
flights. It is automatically generated by the server. Admin is
the main authority who can do addition, deletion, and
modification of flights if required.
EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system of “Application for Flight Booking Management System” is a
manual system. In this system we had book keeping system. We were keeping records manually.
Keeping record on paper is very time consuming. By manual system have many
drawbacks and limitation. It doesn’t maintain the proper records for long period of time and to keep
them requires separate man power. Due to the manual work there are many mistakes to make.
1. Existing System was not time consuming & manually
2. The existing system is completely paper work based
3. Passengers enquired about book a ticket on phone call and system manually record the
detail on papers
4. Maintenance is a huge problem in billing and calculation.
5. Updating, changes in details is too heavy task, because there will come problems of
miscommunication about flight details, booking dates and other details.
6. Passenger visit to the airport then book ticket manually, so it is time taking process.
7. Performance is not achieved up to the requirements.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
We are doing project on “Application on Flight Booking Management System”.
Through this application we are handling all management part in this process like
information about Passenger, which include name, contact No, address, flight
booking. We can also calculate price and create reports easily because it is
computerized system.

1. As data is maintained electronically, it’s easy for a person to update the
details, which has overcome the tedious updating in system

CONCLUSION
Our application for “Flight Booking Management System” is useful for administrator to keep
the records of adding new passenger, new flight details, Booking Details, Manager details, Ticket
Cancellations details and Reports.
This system is developed as simple as possible to use. Being user friendly system, the user dose
not find any difficult using it.
Our System successfully gives the following functionalities:

in the reservations. It not only provides flight details but also but also creates a platform to book

user dose not find any difficult using it.
