Noting Details

Noting details is a reading comprehension skill that involves identifying specific pieces of information from a text to achieve a purpose, such as answering questions. It involves making brief written notes on key details about who, what, where, when, why and how. Noting details helps provide an easy understanding of the text. Verbs are used to indicate tense - whether an action happened in the past, present or future. The three simple tenses are past, present and future, and they express actions that were completed in the past, exist currently, or will occur later.
