When were you able to realize your identity?

Growing up, I was enchanted by the magical worlds of television

and film, particularly the charming tales spun by Disney. The
vibrant colors, enchanting music, and captivating characters
pulled me into a realm where dreams came true. Among my
favorites were the iconic “Barbie” shows and the beloved Disney
princesses, each with their own unique adventures and sparkling
personalities.
As I watched these tales unfold, I found myself drawn to the
qualities of these princesses—courage, kindness, and a sense of
wonder. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was absorbing their
traits, mimicking their actions, and internalizing their values.
Their stories of overcoming obstacles, finding true love, and
believing in oneself became part of my own narrative.
With each passing year, the influence of those characters
lingered in my heart and mind. I began to see myself in their
shoes, imagining my own adventures and embracing my dreams.
The world felt like a canvas, and I was ready to paint my own
story.
Now, looking back, I see how those fairy tales shaped me into
who I am today—a modern-day Disney princess in my own right.
I embody the spirit of those characters, carrying their lessons of
bravery and kindness into my everyday life. Each day is a new
chapter, and I am the heroine of my own story, living out the
magic I once admired on screen.
How did the people around your react?

As I walked through the familiar streets, the sun

shining brightly overhead, I felt a mix of emotions.
My family had reacted positively to my new style,
their supportive words wrapping around me like a
warm blanket. But outside the comfort of home, the
world felt different.
Passing by groups of strangers, I could sense their
eyes on me—some filled with acceptance, nodding or
smiling as I strolled by. Yet, there were others who
greeted me with harshness. Insults and catcalls cut
through the air like sharp shards of glass, leaving me
feeling exposed and vulnerable. Whistles echoed
behind me, their mocking tones haunting as I
continued on my way.
I tried to focus on the supportive voices in my head,
reminding myself that my choice was mine alone.
But each jeer felt like a weight added to my
shoulders. Still, I walked with my head held high,
determined to embrace my identity despite the
mixed reactions. The journey ahead might be fraught
with challenges, but I knew I was not alone; my
family’s love was a guiding light, even in the face of
adversity.
What are the challenges that you've encountered as a part of the LGBTQ+
community and how did you overcome them?

I sometimes question myself as to

why I became this way, people hurl
insults saying that the Almighty did
not make Gays and Lesbians not
knowing that what they are saying
is also wrong. But I always say to
myself that “Whatever they may
say, I know I am not stepping on
anyone and I will continue to be a
part of the LGBTQ+ community”, I
had found myself and what I want
to do here, I became a make-up
artist, a handler and many other
side jobs that benefit me
financially, especially for my
studies.
How has your experience of love and relationship been?

In a world that often feels chaotic and

unyielding, I found a sanctuary in the arms of
someone truly special. For nearly two years now,
we have navigated the winding paths of life
together, our bond growing deeper with each
shared moment. This person sees me—not just
the surface, but the essence of who I am. They
embrace my quirks and flaws, celebrating the
things that make me unique.
In their eyes, I see acceptance and love, a
reminder that everyone deserves to be
cherished just as they are. Their unwavering
support has taught me the beauty of
vulnerability, of allowing someone to love you
wholly. Together, we create a safe space where
both of us can be our authentic selves, free from
judgment.
Our journey is a testament to the power of love
—a love that transcends expectations and
embraces the richness of our individualities. It’s
a beautiful reminder that in this vast world,
finding someone who truly understands and
accepts you is a gift beyond measure.
What changes are you hoping to see in future for the
LGBTQ+ community and individuals?.

For those who are afraid to come out

as part of the LGBTQ+ community, I
hope they find the courage and
positivity to embrace their truth.
While they may encounter
challenges, I encourage them to be
strong and resilient, knowing they
have done nothing wrong as long as
they treat others with respect. For
the community as a whole, I wish for
greater acceptance from our
neighbors, so that we may be seen
as equals.
