हरियाणा उत्तर भारत का एक राज्य


है जिसकी राजधानी चण्डीगढ़ है।
इसकी सीमायें उत्तर में पंजाब और
हिमाचल प्रदेश, दक्षिण एवं पश्चिम
में राजस्थान से जुड़ी हुई हैं।
यमुना नदी इसके उत्तर प्रदेश
राज्य के साथ पूर्वी सीमा को
परिभाषित करती है। राष्ट्रीय
राजधानी दिल्ली हरियाणा से तीन ओर
से घिरी हुई है और फलस्वरूप
हरियाणा का दक्षिणी क्षेत्र
नियोजित विकास के उद्देश्य से
राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र में
शामिल है।

तेलंगाना भारत के आन्ध्र प्रदेश
राज्य से अलग होकर बना भारत का
29वाँ राज्य है। हैदराबाद को दस
साल के लिए तेलंगाना और
आंध्र प्रदेश की संयुक्त
राजधानी बनाया जाएगा। यह
परतन्त्र भारत के हैदराबाद नामक
रजवाडे के तेलुगूभाषी क्षेत्रों
से मिलकर बना है। 'तेलंगाना' शब्द
का अर्थ है - 'तेलुगूभाषियों की
भूमि'।
HARYANA
Ghagra (Daaman)
Women wear long, free, flared skirts called ghagra. Ghaghras have
different patterns and designs on them and are of many bright colours.
They may also have a border at the bottom end.
Odhni
Odhni or chunder is an elongated piece of cloth that women wear over
their attire. The chunders have colourful borders with different patterns.
Women use one end of the chunder to cover their heads. The other end
is tucked in their waistline in the front
Women of Ahir Community wear angia – lehenga with a chunder.
Petticoat
Lehenga / Petticoats are straight fitted long skirts. They are different
from ghaghras as ghagra are more free flowing and open.
Angia
Angia is a tight fitting blouse that women were to cover their torsos. The
blouses come only till midway on the torso.
Odhni
Women use odhni or dupatta over their attire.
Telengana
Telangana is famous for its weaving and dying techniques
because its cotton producing units are world famous. The most
common apparel worn by women is saree along with langa
voni, salwar kameez and churidar. The famous sarees made in
Telangana include Pochampally Saree and Gadwal saree.
Bhoodan Pochampally, a Mandal in Nalgonda District, is known
for its Ikat style of sarees and material. Pochampally weave is
commonly called ikkat or tie and dye weave. Male clothing
includes the traditional Dhoti which is also known as Pancha.
The Hyderabadi Sherwani used to be the dress of choice of the
Nizam of Hyderabad and Hyderabadi nobles. Sherwani is
