I applied through Indeed first, then I got an email from Keyence letting me know that if I wanted to proceed with my application I should apply through their website as well. Then their talent team reached out to me via email letting me know they are advancing me to the next step of the interview process, a digital interview through HireVue. I had to dress nicely, log in, and follow the prompts to record my answers to their interview questions. I didn't get to see the questions ahead of time and it was timed, but it was easy and there were only 4 total. Typical interview questions like "why are you a good fit?" So after I finished the digital interview on HireVue, they sent me 2 emails back to back. One letting me know I had made it to the next round of interviews and that they wanted to schedule an in-person interview as soon as possible and an email with a personality assessment link that I needed to do sometime before my interview. The assessment was quick and easy. I just had to select words off a list I felt described my personality. So then I went for my in-person interview and met with 2 of the managers I would be working with directly. It was a standard in-person interview. They did ask like 8-10 different questions though, which is the most I've been asked at any interview before. They were standard interview questions again, like "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" and "if you were a hiring manager for this role, what qualities would you look for in an ideal candidate?" They were mostly questions that would help them learn more about my personality and work ethic I think. The interview was less than an hour long. No tour of the building was given which I was secretly a little bummed about because it's a huge building and I was curious haha. Overall it was a really good, professional interview. They definitely didn't give anything away to let me know if they were going to hire me or not though. It was a very neutral feeling interview, which was fine by me because I hate when companies act like you got the job and then tell you they went with someone else later. I heard back the same day from their talent acquisition team on the phone with an offer and the offer letter was drafted and emailed shortly thereafter. The whole process from when I submitted my application to when I received my offer took a little over 2 weeks. They kept me informed via email of my progress the entire way. It was the least stressful and quickest hire process I've ever experienced, honestly!
