SO WHY JUST THE LETTERS l i o t?

Learning to form letters is a lot of hard work. Some kids rote learn the letters of their
name but find it very difficult to learn the rest of the alphabet.
Write the letter i and o
These worksheets were designed for kids who have an interest in letters, words and
reading but cant write. Traditional worksheets are often just too hard for these kids.

The L I O T when drawn in lower case (l i o t) are basically made up of straight lines
and circles. They only take one continuous movement (l o) or have an easy dot or
stroke to finish them. Precision isnt needed with these letters and developmentally
they form some of the first pre-writing shapes.

The LIOT worksheets give kids confidence in their developing writing skills and are
a good stepping point for getting them use to more traditional handwriting sheets.

The activities within this workbook are designed to be easy to use. The worksheets
are ordered from easy to hard. The Boardmaker PCS (Picture Communication
