UNIVERSITY, GADAU IN 200 TO STUDY LINGUISTICS in the ARTS AND EDUCATION

With reference to your application for admission into Bauchi State University, Gadau as a student, I have the pleasure
to inform you that you have been offered provisional admission into LINGUISTICS in the ARTS AND EDUCATION to
undertake a 6 year course leading to the award of Bachelor’s degree in LINGUISTICS

1. The offer is subject to the confirmation of your suitability as a student on the basis of the qualifications listed in
your application form. You will therefore be required to produce the originals of your Certificate(s)/Statement of
Results. For candidates who obtained their O level results in the year 2014 or earlier, only original certificates
will be accepted for registration.
2. Please note that if at any time after your registration it is discovered that you do not possess the
qualification(s) on the basis of which you were offered admission, or you gave any other false information in
your application form, you will be withdrawn from the University.
3. You will be required to have been declared medically fit by a qualified Medical Practitioner acceptable to
University before you are allowed to register.
4. Students are required to report immediately. The offer lapses at the close of registration.
You must be decent in your mode of dressing and as such no loose, seductive or provocative mode of

6. That the particulars given in your application form are found to be correct.
That whenever it is discovered that you have used forged the entry requirements, the admission will be

8. Payment of fees, 100% or 50% payment is allowed, But full payment must be made at the beginning of the
second semester.

certificate of birth or declaration of age, 4 identical colored passport size photographs, direct print out of your
online SSCE statement of results or original SSCE certificate.
11. That whenever it is discovered that you have forged to the entry requirements, the admission will be withdrawn
and the appropriate penalty/law will be applied.

Registration Procedure:

valid. PRINT out your INVOICE before proceeding to make payment at the bank. Payments can
also be online with debit cards. The University will not take responsibility for payments made
outside its platform.
1. Log on to www.basug.edu.ng and click on portal. A page will open, carefully select
registration and you’d see a login page.
2. Use your application number as both username and password. You’d be prompted to
change password, please oblige and create a new password.
3. After a successful login, click on fees payment. Carefully check if it’s your account by
checking the name. Please do not pay if the details are not your, otherwise you’ll pay for
another student and the University will not take responsibility for your error.
4. Click on proceed to make payment.
5. Make payments and generate receipt.
6. Read every message carefully before proceeding to the next step.
7. Upon successful payment, your account will be activated and you can proceed with
registration.
