II. Create Your Own Work of Art
You know the principles. You know the elements. You've done the research. Now it's time to
put your skills to the test. Using the visual medium of your choice, create a work of art. Allow
the basic principles and elements of art to guide you and influence your style. Think about
creating unity in your work. Which artists inspired this particular work of art? Write an artistic
statement to go along with your work.
My artwork VOID was inspired by the creations of Zdizislaw Beksinski. This artwork is all about how
draining this time of pandemic is, loss of works for our parents and honestly, this online class is
draining me out with no proper knowledge being gained and with no social interaction with friends.
