Dear Mr. President,

As the largest national trade association representing all facets of America’s oil and natural gas industry, I write to
respectfully request a meeting with you and leaders of American energy companies to discuss our shared objectives of
addressing the punishing rate of inflation on the American people and the energy security challenges facing the nation.

Energy is the lifeblood of the U.S. economy – fueling every sector and powering the innovation that has helped America
reduce its emissions to the lowest levels in a generation. The energy policy set today will shape the economy and
security of future generations of Americans. It should not be an issue that divides along partisan lines. Together we
seek to help catalyze broad, bipartisan and durable consensus to build the infrastructure and support the energy
expansion and innovations needed to secure America’s future.

We recently had a similar opportunity to share our policy vision with former-President Trump. Our industry’s vision
ensures that America controls its energy destiny and that all Americans have access to affordable and reliable energy,
taking aim at the inflation that continues to punish the nation and strengthening our energy independence. It is also a
vision that continues to build on our industry’s long record of reducing emissions and investing in innovative
technology.

We stand ready as patriotic and proud companies – that support more than 11 million jobs and nearly eight percent of
the U.S. economy – to work with you and your team to find common ground that can help hardworking families. Now is
the time to build on America's energy advantage to secure our economic and energy future.
