PALAYAN CITY, NUEVA ECIJA
The Provincial Meet 2024 held in Palayan City was a remarkable
event that brought together athletes from various schools to showcase
their talents, compete in a spirit of camaraderie, and celebrate
sportsmanship. The event ran from December 6 to December 9, 2024,
and featured a diverse range of sporting events with enthusiastic
participation from our school.
The meet officially commenced on December 6 at 8:00 AM under
the leadership of our Division Sports Coordinator, Sir Joel Cruz. The
opening ceremony was a vibrant affair, highlighted by the lighting of the
torch by our very own Palarong Pambansa 2024 silver medalist, John
Patrick Patricio. This symbolic act ignited the passion and competitive
spirit of all participants. Motivational messages from distinguished guests
during the program inspired the athletes to give their best in their
respective events.

1. Athletics:

Ivan Sactrapos - Competed in the Shot Put event, displaying
exceptional strength and technique. (No Placer)
Bernalyn Matias - Represented our school in the Long Jump
event, showcasing remarkable agility and skill. (No Placer)
The athletics team demonstrated resilience and determination,
contributing significantly to the overall performance of our school.

The Sepak Takraw team executed impressive strategies throughout the
tournament, achieving victory against their opponents, Licab and Palayan,
and also securing a win against Guimba. Despite a hard-fought match
against Aliaga, where they faced a setback, the valuable experience
gained will strengthen their performance in future competitions.

The Basketball Girls team, under the guidance of their coaches,
demonstrated exceptional teamwork and skill. Competing in a highly
