considered as the last prophet sent by Allah but the way he used his voice and ability to preach
served as a remembrance that he is a messenger of God, and is the tool he used to connect to
Islam people.

Answer the following reflective questions
1. What is the most important teaching of Islam that you may apply in your life as an individual?
Expound.
An important teaching bounded to me by the study of Islam is the application of peace and mercy.
With this, nobody would get hurt, rebel against each other or carry a huge grudge against one
another. This would be the end of war and terrorism if all people would follow this belief—but people
think it is impossible. However, I would apply this to myself as an individual because change starts
within you, and soon it’ll show through my actions and I’ll let people know through my deeds that it is
indeed an important teaching to be implemented in life.
2. In what way does global terrorism nowadays affected Islam as a religion. Do you think it has
negative effects to the everyday lives of our Muslim brothers and sisters? Explain you answer briefly.
Global terrorism affects Islam because most of them are rebellions from their religion and most of
people affected by terrorism are Muslims, themselves. Our Muslim brothers and sisters struggle as
victims in terrorism attacks because of the extremism exerted by large Muslim States waging war.
