Contact Adhesive
Product Description
INSURBOND 106-S is a solvent-containing one-component adhesive with very strong adhesion properties on all normally
occurring substrates and to be used for bonding Insuwrap PVC waterproofing membranes to concrete, cement plaster
& metal sheets; where required.
Uses Application Instructions
u Concrete, aerated concrete, bricks and roughcast Surface Preparation
render Plywood, Fiber cement boards.
The surface has to be leveled, sound, dry and clean. Apply
u Polyurethane rigid foam boards with appropriate glass the adhesive uniformly on the substrate using a fine
facing. trowel, brush or roller. Allow the adhesive to set for approx.
15-20 minutes to become tacky then place the following
Perlite boards.

Storage & Shelf Life
INSURBOND 106-S
Store under cover, protect from direct sunlight and high
temperature (upto 38ºC). Shelf life is upto 18 months in
unopened container when stored as directed.
Failure to comply with the recommended storage
conditions may result in premature deterioration of the
product or packaging. Please follow law of the land.
Cleaning
Clean all the tools with warm water immediate.
Health & Safety
As with all chemicals, caution should always be exercised.
Protective clothing such as gloves and goggles should be
worn.
a. Inhalation: Inhalation of vapor or mist should be
avoided. Symptoms include coughing, wheezing,
laryngitis and shortness of breath, headache, nausea
and vomiting. Immediately shift victim to fresh air and
if needed immediately start artificial respiration. Give
oxygen if breathing is labored. Get emergency medical
help.
b. Eye Contact: Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and
call for medical help.
c. Ingestion: Causes nausea, vomiting and loss of
consciousness. If accidentally swallowed do not induce
vomiting rather call for medical help immediately.
d. Skin contact: Flush with water or soap and water until
all traces have been removed. Seek medical attention
if required.
