For the opening of the school year, the school held a Homeroom PTA meeting
per Grade Level and Section. Teacher must have a link cooperation with the parents to
achieve the goal set by the Department of Education for the sake of the learners. It
was very important for the parents to attend with this kind of meeting for they will
know the status and attitude of their children in school.
It was at around 2:30 in the afternoon when the meeting started. Before the
meeting started, the parents were asked to sign the prepared attendance sheet and
got their contact numbers for future references. I, yours truly, Mrs. Rhea R. Sarmiento
Grade Six-Sunflower class adviser started the meeting through an opening prayer and
after that I proceed to the discussion of the following agenda:
 School Rules and Regulations
 Classroom Rules and Regulations
 Reading and Study Habits
 Grading System
 Other Reminders
The first agenda was the school rules and regulations wherein I gave them the
correct information on how to follow the rules and regulations of the school especially
with this new normal education. It was very important that each learners must follow
the signages from entering to the gate of the school to their respective classroom, the
time where the learners must be in school, the importance of their attendance, dress
code, the learners with vaccination and also follow the health and safety protocols.
The second agenda was about the classroom rules and regulation where in I discussed
the different new normal classroom rules. I also emphasize how the learners must
answer their activity sheets in different subjects and also the Homeroom Guidance. I
also reminded them to teach their children on how to be responsible and be discipline
inside the classroom.
Reading and study habits was also discussed to the parents since some of the
class was from Modular Distance Learning due to pandemic and I have noticed that
some of the learners were struggling in terms of reading that’s why I emphasize to give
them time at home to practice more in reading.

On the next agenda, I discussed to the parents the Grading System for this
school year, the components of assessment such as written works, performance tasks
and quarterly assessment in every subject. Other reminders was follow: Any item or
school equipment damaged or lost by a child is the responsibility of the parent and
must be replaced; Any problem the child has with a classmate or the teacher must first
be reported to the class adviser and not to both parents or other students so that
appropriate solution can be provided immediately.
This was followed by the election of officers for the SY 2024-2025 where the
elected officers will follow:

Mainaga-San Francisco Integrated school has conducted the 2nd HPTA meeting
as well as the release of card for the 2nd quarter. It was started at 3:00 pm and an
opening prayer was led by yours truly, Mrs. Rhea R. Sarmiento, Grade VI-Sunflower
teacher adviser.
The first agenda that had been discussed was some reminders about the school
and classroom rules and regulation specifically in attendance and wearing the proper
dress code wherein the pupils should wear school uniform every Monday, Tuesday
and Thursday, PE uniform every Wednesday and any proper dress every Friday.
It is followed by academic performance of the learners during the quarterly
assessment and the children's output which will serve as their portfolio in each
subject. The teacher stressed that it is very important to pass on the activities done by
the children in school because it is one of the basis of their grade. Next discussed was
about School Wekknss Contest where it is a big help in the growth of children and will
serve as performance in MAPEH. The next thing that was discussed was about the
District Field Trip to be held on March
This was followed by the recognition of children who showed talent in Quarter 2
and some of those who were included in the performing pupil and with honors pupil.
At the end of the meeting, the children's card was handed out for the parents to
sign, and the parents were truly happy with their children's grades. The meeting was
adjourned at 4:00 pm.

Parents and teachers must develop camaraderie for the improvement of our
children. Quarterly, we should meet to inform and know the standing of your children
in the school.
It was around 2:30 in the morning when the meeting for Grade Six parents
started. Before the meeting started, the parents were asked to sign the prepared
attendance sheet then Mrs. Rhea R. Sarmiento, class adviser started the meeting
through an opening prayer and after that she proceeded to the discussion of the
following agenda: Reminders about reading and study habits of the pupils, awarding
and recognition for performing pupils and pupils with honors; other reminders; release
and signing of report cards.
The adviser discussed about giving of certificate of recognition for the
performing pupils who got 87-89 General Average and pupils with honors who got 90
General Average. The certificates of recognition were given and received by the proud
parents. Other reminders were discussed again by yours truly about the reading and
study habits of the pupils, Homeroom Guidance and the update for the classroom
voluntary contribution that being tackled last meeting.
The meeting ended at 3:30 pm where the discussions were well agreed upon.
