Conflict Identification
Drugs and other hazardous substances affect our children significantly. This is
especially true for economically disadvantaged adolescents, who often lack nutritional
meals and cannot afford to participate in activities that other young people their age
would enjoy. Maligalig Barangay is now battling this. Shockingly, some of their kids are
engaging in risky behavior when they should be in school, learning, and having fun. They
entice kids to cause havoc. As mentioned, the community must solve the case. As the
article suggests, they should also engage their children in enjoyable activities to help
them focus and discover a solution.
Plan of Action
Hiking with a retreat and planting trees can assist the environment without costing
much. To prepare the youngsters for the day and emergencies, they should start with a
brief orientation. They can then go and either stop for meals or wait until they get there.
After that, they can plant trees to start over. The closing remarks and certificate handouts
will demonstrate to the youth how much their contributions are valued. After arriving, the
child might attend a retreat to recharge and rediscover their purpose.
Reflection
I learned from Barangay Maligalig that we must be role models for the next
generation. As our culture modernizes, young people are susceptible to temptations.
Today's kids and teens need their parents and other loved ones' moral compass more
than ever because the information is at their fingertips. If not, our youth may lose hope.
