1 GENERAL
This manual describes parameters of DynACon. Parameters are assorted to groups. All groups are not
always visible from control panel. Groups are shown in control panel according to password level and
selected functions. This feature makes the visible parameter menu simple because only needed parameters
are shown.
The letter front of the code number describes variable type.

3 GROUP 2 PARAMETERS

3.1 Group 2.1 Basic parameters

P2.1.5 Output Voltage [V] Output voltage.
P2.1.6 DC Start Limit [V] DC start limit. The drive will start when DC start limit is exceeded in AUTO mode (P2.1.8).
Minimum value P2.1.7.
P2.1.7 DC Stop Limit [V] DC stop limit. The drive will stop driving when DC voltage drops below DC stop limit in
AUTO or PANEL mode (P2.1.8).
P2.1.8 Control place Defines how the commands are given.
0= Panel. The commands are given from the keypad.
1= Auto. The drive starts and stops automatically (P2.1.6, P2.1.7)
2= Bus. The commands are given from the fieldbus.
Note! Do not change start function during crane operation. This may cause
hazardous situation.
P2.1.9 Current Limit [A] Defines the maximum output current from the inverter.
To avoid sinus filter overloading, set this parameter according to the rated current of the
sinus filter (normally 1.5...2 x In).
Note! The value must be limited to drive maximum output current (1 minute value).
P2.1.10 Voltage Boost [%] This parameter can be used to compensate the voltage drop in a sinus filter. The amount
of compensation depends on values of P2.1.10 and active output current. Real output
voltage is:

G2.2 Bus Parameters ≥ Engineering password

P2.2.1 Slave Address Specifies the station address for the drive when used as a slave in the Profibus controlled
by the PLC master. Each slave must have a unique station address. The range of the
address selection is 2-126.
With Engineering password, these parameters can be changed during stop state. With Expert password, these parameters can be
changed also during running. Process data 1 is always output voltage, Process data 2 is always output current and Process data 3 is
always output frequency.

3.3 Group 2.3 Protections

G2.3 Protections ≥ Engineering password

P2.3.1 Earth Fault Earth fault protection continuously checks that the sum of the output phase currents is
zero. With this parameter this function be turned off. The overcurrent protection is always
active and protects the inverter from low impedance earth faults.
0= Not Used.
1= Yes. Unit is stopped and fault F3 occurs.
P2.3.2 Line Supervision Line Supervision monitors the supply voltage. With this parameter this function can be
turned off.
0= Not Used.
1= Yes. Unit is stopped and fault F10 occurs.
P2.3.3 Output Supervision Phase supervision of the output continuously checks that the output phases have about
equal current. With this parameter this function can be turned off.
0= Not Used.
1= Yes. Unit is stopped and fault F11 occurs.
P2.3.4 Thermistor Fault With this parameter thermistor function can be turned on.
0= Not used.
1= Yes. Unit is stopped and fault F57 occurs.
P2.3.5 Switching Freq Increasing the switching frequency adds device losses and reduces the continuous load
capacity. If the switching frequency is too low, sinus filter lifetime decreases. The switching
frequency has to be set according to the specification of the filter. Contact factory before
changing switching frequency.
0= Automatic. Switching frequency is selected automatically related on drive power
class.
1= 1.5 kHz
2= 2.5 kHz
3= 3.6 kHz
4= 7.5 kHz
P2.3.6 Unit Max Size Defines the maximum size of the power unit. Contact factory before changing this
parameter.
P2.3.7 Under Volt Limit [V] Defines the undervoltage fault tripping level. When the voltage goes under the value P2.3.7
fault F9 occurs.

P2.4.1 Accel Time [s] This value defines the time required for the inverter output frequency to increase from zero
to value P2.1.4. Shorter values than the factory setting must not be used.
P2.4.2 U/f Mid Volt [%] This parameter defines voltage level at mid frequency. Voltage level is given by percentage
of nominal voltage.
P2.4.3 U/f Mid Freq [Hz] This parameter defines middle frequency value.

This function makes possible to set the triggering conditions from keypad. PC is needed to get the recorded data out from the inverter. If
triggering conditions are needed to set from PC, P2.5.19.1 Trigger Mode need to be set 0=Off. Contact factory for more information
about datalogger.

S5.3.3 Down from keypad Downloads parameters in keypad memory to user parameters.
P5.3.4 Autom. Backup 0= Yes. Parameter changes are uploaded automatically to keypad.
1= No. Parameter changes are not uploaded automatically to keypad.
The default value of Automatic Backup is 1 = No. That allows keeping a good copy of
parameters in keypad memory.

set in parameter P2.1.1.
P5.5.2 Parameter Lock 0= ChangeEnable. Parameter values are unlocked.
1= ChangeDisable. Parameter values are locked.
P5.5.3 Startup wizard 0= No. Startup wizard is not active. This is the default setting in DynACon.
1= Yes. Startup wizard is active. Startup wizard is not used in DynACon.
P5.5.4 [Link] 0= ChangeEnable. Changing the variables of Multimonitor N1.13.1 is enabled.
1= ChangeDisable. Changing the variables of Multimonitor N1.13.1 is disabled.

P5.6.1 Default Page After timeout or power on, the display returns to the selected page.
P5.6.2 Default Page/OM Not used in DynACon.
P5.6.3 Timeout time After timeout time the display returns to Default Page, if no buttons are pushed.
P5.6.4 Contrast Defines the contrast value of the keypad display.
P5.6.5 Backlight time Defines the backlight time. When no buttons are pushed, after a selected time delay the
backlight of keypad display is turned off.

Code Name Description
P5.7.1 InternBrakeRes 0= Not connected. This is the default setting in D2V and must not be changed.
1= Connected. A low capacity internal braking resistor inside inverter. Not used in
D2V.
P5.7.2 Fan control 0= Continuous. The cooling fan is always on.
1= Temperature. The cooling fan is activated when temperature exceeds 60°C. The
fan receives a stop command when the heat sink temperature falls below 55°C.
The fan runs for 1 min after the stop command or power on situation. Also if the
value of this parameter is changed from Continuous to Temperature, the fan still
runs for 1 min regardless of temperature.
2= First start. The cooling fan is activated when drive is started first time after power
on. The fan stays on until the next power off.
3= Calc temp. The cooling fan is activated when IGBT Temperature exceeds 40°C.
The fan receives a stop command when the IGBT Temperature falls below 30°C.

T5.8.2.1 MWh counter Shows the power consumption after the last reset of this trip counter.
P5.8.2.2 Clr MWh counter Reset = Changing the parameter to Reset value resets the Trip MWh counter
T5.8.2.1. After this the parameter returns to Not Reset value.
Not Reset = Normal value of this parameter. This does not mean that the MWh Trip
counter has never been reset.
T5.8.2.3 PwOn Day Counter Shows the power on days after the last reset of this trip counter.
T5.8.2.4 PwOn hour counter Shows the power on hours after the last reset of this trip counter.
P5.8.2.5 Clr Optime cntr Reset = Changing the parameter to Reset value resets the Trip PwOn Day T5.8.2.3

Reset value.
Not Reset = Normal value of this parameter. This does not mean that the PwOn day
