Request Validator
This page allows you to check if the bid request is valid.
The Request Validator feature allows you to check the validity of bid requests, ensuring they meet the required specifications and OpenRTB standards. It helps identify and resolve bid request issues to improve compliance and accuracy.
If the request is valid, you will see the Success result
To check the validity of the request, follow these steps:
- Paste your bid request into the Bid Request field;
- Select the required OpenRTB protocol version:
- v2.3.1
- v2.4
- v2.5
- Press the Validate button.
Error Handling
The Request Validator highlights the exact fields and strings where errors occur
If the bid request is invalid, the Request Validator provides detailed feedback:
- Error List: Displays all detected errors in the bid request.
- Field-Level Highlighting: Highlights the exact fields where errors occur.
- Schema Validation: Identifies objects with properties not allowed by the OpenRTB schema and highlights them.
- Line-Level Highlighting: Highlights the specific strings containing errors.
- Line Numbers: Shows line numbers and indicates the exact lines where errors are present.
This feedback lets you locate and fix errors quickly, ensuring bid requests meet OpenRTB standards.
