Firewall Pro Dashboard

The Firewall Pro dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. It provides an overview of malware activity across monitored package ecosystems.

The Active Malware in Upstream Ecosystems section displays the current number of malicious packages that Sonatype Research has detected across each monitored ecosystem.

For each ecosystem, this section shows the following:

  • Total number of active malicious packages currently identified

  • A chart showing how many new malicious packages were detected each day for the last 7 days

  • Count of packages newly detected in the last 7 days

This data updates weekly and reflects Sonatype's ongoing malware detection. It is independent of your own organization's traffic or usage.

Note

The Active Malware section is informational and shows the current state of the overall malware landscape, not packages that were specifically blocked for your organization.

The Direct Request Blocks section displays information specific to your organization's traffic and protection events. This includes the following:

  • Specific components that Firewall Pro has blocked from entering your codebase

  • The ecosystem to which that specific component belongs

  • The IP address where the request originated

  • The reason that Firewall Pro blocked the component (e.g., was it malicious or unknown)

  • A timestamp of when the block occurred
