Hello everybody!. Iv'e seen the messages for this issue. I think, that there is no problem at all with the code shown before, but, lokk at this: "2 C:\Dev-Cpp\Templates\states.c:70 [Warning] no newline at end of file How can a error that is supposed to occur at the end of the file occur in line 2 anyway? If anyone has any idea what is up here, please tell me." there is an #include in the line 2, isn't it? Remember what #include <filenme> does: it is like copy-pasting the contens of "filename" as it is, into your code. I mean, the error may be in <stdlib.h> or the file that you're including. Try to change the line in wich the include apears, move it to line 1, 3 ... etc. If the warnig seems to be always in the same line of the include, then the problem is in the included file, so find the file, make a backup copy and put the new-line at the end of the original.(be careful of modifying only that!), save, and compile... I've had similar problems, an that has been a solution. But, I don't give any warranty. Please tell me( all of us, really), how do you finally resolve it... Hoping to be helpful: Gerson. --------------------------------- |

Hello, I tried recently to build with the SDL devpack. Everything seems to work fine, except the SDL_GL_SetAttribute(....) calls. Each of them caused a segmentation fault... Has someone spotted the same problem ? Is it a problem with my code? a devpack problem ? a mingw problem? a SDL problem ? For the moment I cannot try on other OS or builder, so please tell me what you think about it. Thank you. For those who are interested you can find the code on https://gna.org/projects/sge Just use the sge-debug devcpp project. Well, I've three version of the DLL. One is in C:\Windows\System32\ and is version 5.82.2900.2180 One is in C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.0.0_x-ww_1382d70a and is version 6.0.2600.0 The last is in C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.2600.2180_x-ww_a84f1ff9 and is version 6.0.2900.2180 The strange thing is that i compiled the example with MS C++ Free compiler and there was no problem. With dev c++ I'm receiving this error. How can I know what is the right library to link, and how do I tell this to dev c++? Thank you very much Vito Derek Clarke ha scritto: > This might be a DLL version problem. > > Check that you haven't got another copy of the very common ComCtl32.dll in > the library path without those functions. > > In article <41F...@ma...>, vt...@ma...
