Hi,

We use Delphi 6, but should be compilable with Delphi 7.

Dear Bloodshed's Crew, I have been using DevC++ IDE nearly 2 years (on and off). I have to = say that the high standard support in C/C++=20 lanauage development of this IDE software is EXCELLENT. =20 I am currently practicing small projects using DEVCPP and also SUN = Java JEE2 for web programming. =20 By the way, I look forward to contribute in coding or testing modules in near furture.=20 yours sincerey, Rudy |

It's an option about the memory alignment of structures, and it's obsolete since GCC3.0, now you have to change that option to --mms-bitfields. Hi there, wouldn't it be faster if DEV-C++ created a local cache to store only the class information that are included in the current project? Bela Papp |

hmm...sounds like devcpp can't find the binaries it needs to compile. check Tools-->Compiler Options-->'Directories' tab-->'Binaries' subtab. if you installed devcpp using the installer program, it should have installed a variant of MinGW and the necessary support programs to compile with in the 'bin' subdirectory. in that case, the path 'c:\dev-cpp\bin' should be listed (or wherever you installed devcpp to + '\bin'). if you got your version of devcpp from CVS or you got the version without the compiler, you will have to install or specify another compiler and utility programs. the paths to all the programs listed in Tools-->Compiler Options-->'Programs' tab should be specified, as well as the path to 'rm.exe', which is used to delete files. if you installed MinGW separately, note that the normal version of 'make.exe' does not come with it. install MSYS also (from the same site), and add its 'bin' dir to the binaries path. that'll give you both 'make' and 'rm.exe'. if you still have problems, let me know and i'll give you instructions for downloading/installing the latest version of MinGW/MSYS. hth, alvin www.hyebun.com wrote: > > Hi, > I am pretty new on Dev-C++. > I could not compile examples after installing Dev-EX. > When I do "compile" I have Line "2" File > "C:\Develop\Dev-Cpp\Examples\Hello\2" and message " unable to run > program file". > > Did I miss or something wrong? > I followed how to use Dev-C++ documents. > > Regards, > bkna > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF. Hi, I would compile GTK+ with Dev-C++. For example, in project directory of Dev-Cpp, I would compile editor or work files. But I had errors with -fnative-struct. Is it a descript file required? What is for? Please inform me. I am using Dev-C++ ver. 5 beta. on WinXP. |
