SDL: www.libsdl.org Allegro: I forget, try looking for liballeg on Google CLDGDI: Don't know Any of these packages are available through WebUpdate in your Dev-C++ folder. They install easily and the sample program should compile perfectly. My personal favourite is SDL though, because Allegro requires to much configuration, IMHO. Hi everyone, I think this is a very important question; at least for me!!!! I am personally not a heavy programmer, however, I use graphics in many of the programs I write. In order to avoid the hassle with graphics in C/C++, I usually use C/C++ to do the bulk of the processing and then dump the output in a certain format and then use other programs, such as gnuplot, to plot the results. I would be very much interested to see how I can integrate everything in one program. I tried to find SDL, Allegro and CLGDI but was not successful in that direction. Could you please shed more light on where to find them, how to install them (if it needs special installation or configuration for the compiler) and how to make sure this things is working, by providing some examples. I am very interested to know what works under windows and/or unix or linux OSes. Thank you. Ahmed -----Original Message----- From: dev...@li... You have to pass to the linker the options -lgdi -lbgi -mingw32 (I think
this is the order you have to pass, I remember there was an order needed
for those arguments, but I'm not sure about what it was). I deleted all
the projects I did using it, so I cannot open one to check it.
If that's not the problem try including conio.h either before or after
winbgim.
What I remember of when I used this is that sometimes it worked adding
conio after or before, or not adding, adding or not some library
options... it was a bit of mess.

Hi, I am not entirely sure if this is the solution, but maybe you should go to: Tools -> Compiler Options -> Settings -> Linker and set "Do not use standard system startup files or libraries" to "Yes" Eugene > -----Original Message----- > From: dev...@li... > [mailto:dev...@li...] On Behalf Of Maya > Sent: jueves, 23 de octubre de 2003 2:11 > To: Dev - C++ > Subject: [Dev-C++] uninclude winuser.h? > > > When I compile my program, Dev-C++ automatically include the file=20 > 'winuser.h' as well as other windows files. when i run the program as below,there are so many errors,i have downloaded
the CLGdiDevpak through webupdate.i really found some mistakes in the header
file <winbgi.h>,but after i correct there basic mistakes and compile it ,there
are still errors.this time i don't know what i should do.the program as
following:
/* name.c ... this program is quoted from Dev-cpp/Templates/consoleGdi*/
#include <winbgim.h>
main()
{
initwindow(640,480);
setcolor(WHITE);
circle(320,240,100);
getch();
closegraph();
return 0;
