Ok, when *I* tried to install Allegro from a standalone download instead of a devpak I had to follow a special tutorial for configuring it to work with Dev-C++, and then it still didn't work :\ At 12:05 AM 27/10/2003 +0100, Michal Molhanec wrote: >Matthews wrote: > >> perfectly. http://www.yeohhs.com The downloads section has a "How to make devpaks" article which is useful. Devpaks are just tar.bz2 files with the files and a .devpackage text file which contains the filenames and dirs for different parts of the package. Yeoh's doc can explain better though. Hi Neo, do you have any ideas about C++ programming?! If no, first you should buy a good C++ book for beginners. If you like, I also can send you a pdf.document with some introduction about C/C++. If you have already some knowledge about C/C++ you should change your Internetprovider or order the Dev C++ by CD. You mean set focus ?
Windows focused first enabled control that have lowest id number.
You can change resource file or write litle code.
During WM_INITDIALOG:
// Set keyboard focus (dot line) to IDB_EDIT button.
SetFocus(GetDlgItem(hDlg, IDB_EDIT));
// Set BS_DEFPUSHBUTTON style to button (black border).
// Usually OK button has this style.
SendMessage(GetDlgItem(hDlg, IDB_EDIT), BM_SETSTYLE,
BS_DEFPUSHBUTTON, TRUE);
return FALSE;

To be exact, DJGPP compiles 32bit code. It uses cwsdpmi extender to run the code under protected DPMI 0.9 mode (like Watcom uses DOS4GW extender). To run DJGPP programs under windows, cwsdpmi is not needed, as windows is in protected mode. Real mode 16bit programs can be built with Borland C/C++ compiler (version less than 3.x) or with Turbo C compiler or tools like that. > -- > Greetings, > Bal_zs A. |

Hello!
Is there any way, to activate an edit button?
EDITTEXT IDC_STAT_L,6,51,26,12,ES_CENTER | ES_AUTOHSCROLL |
ES_NUMBER
I mean, my aim is the cursor blinking in that edittext.
Regards,
Neszt Tibor
