I get the main bloodshed page OK, it's the Dev-C++ resource site that isn't. I've checked my settings several times already. Turbo C++ is old. ANSI C++ 1998 includes built in bool type with possible values true and false so redefining it is of course an error (like redefining 1,2). Hi all, for some time I am working on a game that looks somewhat like C&C (actually more like Dune 2). The game is called "Worst Case Scenario - WCS". Developing such a game is an enourmous project. If you are interrested in working with me on this game then please visit the web site at sourceforge: http://sf.net/projects/wcs-jabe Recently I have worked on a web-site to illustrate what exactly I am working on. The home page is at: http://wcs-jabe.sf.net/ In the documentation section you will find a lot of graphics and animations showing how the game will work. It is an open source project, with the main goal of learning C++, multimedia and the basics of artificial intelligence. No special experience is needed (but is welcome if you have it). If you are interrested then please let me know. Positions that must be filled include: Design area: - Rules-of-play designers - Strategy (AI) algorithm developers Programming area: - C++ developers - Code inspectors - Play testers AI area (problems to solve): - Automatic map generation - Automatic base generation - Pathfinding - Campaign planning Multimedia area: - Audio-effect developers - Bitmap designers - 2D animators - 3D animators - Map editors - Web-site editors |

Hi folks, When I go to the Dev-C++ Resource Site (http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/index.html) on my browser it gets displayed in a really terrible hard to read font, and I was wondering if anyone else has this problem? It could be something on my system although I have no idea what. I have a font on my system called "TooMuchCoffee" or something like that, and it seems to be using that one, which is weird cos no other sites use it. I just want to check if it happens to someone else before trying to report it to the webmaster. I use IE6, BTW. See y'all, Jason. |

WOW!! I get the exact same error in my projects... and, sometimes I can't even quit the program. What is it? -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: dev...@li... [mailto:dev...@li...]P=E5 vegne af Todd Ross Sendt: 28. september 2001 17:01 Til: dev...@li... Emne: [Dev-C++] Out of Memory Error Hi: I am new to Dev-C++. Sometimes I get "Out of Memory" errors when I try= to close windows in a project. The file does not have to have a lot of code= in it. In fact the file can be empty and produce the problem. Has anybody encountered this? If so, is there a remedy? Thanks! |

Are you sure that it says ... 'int getchar(...)'? Try adding: #include <conio.h> to the top of your file anyway, that is where the getch() function is = declared. The function getchar() is part of <stdio.h> AFAIK Jason. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: colombianomoren0=20 To: dev...@li...=20 Sent: Saturday, September 29, 2001 6:02 AM Subject: [Dev-C++] (no subject) How can I get my getch function to work? I keep receiving the errror = "implicit declaration of function `int getchar(...)". |

Hi ! I've just read the FAQ on bloodshed.net for Dev-C++. It explains the right syntax for including asm in C++ source code. But as I don't know the assembly language, it wasn't very helpful to me. I'd like to do a graphic interrupt (13h for example). Can someone tell me the correct syntax to launch an interrupt ? how to do this ? |
